Dr. Mark Thompson, MD

I just walked out of seeing this physician at an Urgent Care. I needed a very simple refill of 2 drugs I have been taking for 8 years at the same dosage. He phrased his questions like I was being deceptive or am misdiagnosed. He seemed unenthused with my short description of why I take my meds. I told him I did not have time to hash out my entire psych history for a doctor I will not be continuing care with. He also lied to me saying he could only write 30 day prescriptions. But the last two times I went to the SAME clinic and got 90 day supplies. My appointment with a PC is 5 months out and I left no script. He was also informed that I was already out of one of them, his '30 something years' as a doctor should have informed him that I might be a little MOODY when I'm only on half my medication. I was treated like a drug seeker for trying to get meds that can't get you high and are not controlled. Clearly he can only handle physical ailments. That's not acceptable in Urgent Care.

Dr. Thompson was kind and caring. Definitely felt like he went above and beyond. He listened and addressed all my concerns, explained everything and made sure I got immediate follow up care. He even reviewed my prescription side effects with me and made a plan to follow up with me in 2 days. I felt he was genuinely concerned for my well being. Thank you, Dr . Thompson!

Dr. Thompson was very thorough in explaining to me what he was going to do when he had to lance my abscess. I found this to be very helpful. He was extremely thorough and took his time to be sure I understood everything. I have had doctors in the past who have just rushed through everything, so I really appreciated that.
