I just learned Dr Weiner is retiring and I am most disappointed. I have used Dr Weiner and others in this office for 25 years. He is NOT arrogant and he is very thorough. If you need an explanation he will give you the time you need, but he takes his job seriously and will not waste his time or yours with a lot of "fluff " he is very knowledgeable and I can't begin to imagine him ever making a bad diagnosis. I wish him much happiness in his retirement and it will be a loss to his long term patients.

Poor Practices and Procedures
During a recent annual visit to Eye Associates of Boca Raton Dr. Weiner advised me that he was going to review my retinal imaging on the computer. I advised him that no such imaging took place that day. Some other patient’s imaging was in my file which he subsequently deleted. He seemed quite unconcerned about the fact that records were mixed up and did not offer an apology nor express that it would be looked into so that this serious error would not happen again. My imaging was done and the examination completed. I am very disappointed that their procedures and practices would allow such an error to be made, and the lack concern.

Excellent ophthalmologist!
Very detailed and takes time to make sure the patient understands all that was done and is suggested. My only complaint is that they still require masks.

I’ve used Dr. Weiner for years. As I work with the Visually Impaired, I am quite aware of all types of eye conditions and their causes. Dr. Weiner is an incredibly, intelligent ophthalmologist who has always been a wonderful physician to work with!

Dr Weiner charges $60 for an Eye script (up from $40 last year) which he does anyways with a routine complete eye exam for a Medicare patient. One can get this script exam in many places for free. The fee is just not right.

He told me things that weren’t true. I followed up with another doctor who told me he is a “churner”.

Women in office are extremely nice but dr mark weiner has that arrogant attitude i would recommend trying the practice with another doctor
