Dr. Marsha Bornt, MD

When I went for what I thought was just a routine visit the front desk assistant tried telling me I had to pay a lot for surgery that I didn’t know anything about. Dr Bornt herself was pretty nice but now I keep getting a large bill that insurance company said was never billed. When I tried calling to ask about that they were very short with me on the phone but I still keep getting the same bill.I’m changing doctors but was also told that she retired.

Doctor has totally changed - and for the worse. She wouldn't listen to my concerns and was very dismissive and stopped just short of telling me I was stupid and didn't know my own symptoms. The staff seems rude -- almost like they are reflecting how the office environment is. I will be changing doctors.

I was seen for treatment of PCOS, I asked a number of questions about wanting to try and conceive with the nurse that weren't even addressed with the doctor. When I tried asking one of my questions it was dismissed with a throw away answer. Also,I was asked if I have been trying to keep track of my weight when I told her that for the past 3 months I've had a lot going on but that I've been going to the gym with my husband she said, well you gained 2 pounds since your last visit and then sarcastically says maybe it's muscle. I'm not afraid to confront the issues about my weight, I'm acutely aware of that fact. But maybe you should start by trying to put yourself in you patient's position before making ungracious assumptions about your patients, we come to you for compassionate care not to be dismissed.

Dr. Bornt should not be practicing medicine. She was dismissive of my concerns about changes in my breasts and condescendingly implied that I didn't know what I was talking about or that my concerns were irrelevant because of my weight. She had never met me before, I was a new patient, and she knew nothing about me. I don't even think she looked at my intake information to see my family history of breast cancer. She was also very rough with the pelvic exam and was rude when I said it hurt, and then I was in pain for like two weeks after that. Do not let anyone you care about be seen by Dr. Bornt.

There was a comment that says she's very condescending I have to agree. She wasn't that way even six years ago. I think she's exhausted. Tired. Life is happening to her because she's in her seventies. She knows women body but she's less patient now

I went to see Dr. Bornt for a diagnostic laparoscopy for endometriosis. After surgery, she insisted I start Lupron or get pregnant, even after telling her that I did not wish to have children. She even spoke with my significant other after surgery about pregnancy. I tried for several weeks to get her to research other options for treatment with me after I expressed concern about Lupron's side effects, only to receive a phone call from one of the nurses insisting that these were my only 2 options. I started seeing a specialist very shortly after at a university research hospital to begin alternative treatments. I appreciated Dr. Bornt's quick push to get me diagnosed for endometriosis but now very much feel that she was looking to preserve my fertility over decrease my constant pain.

Overworked. Burned out. Condescending. Not the doctor she once was. Began her lecture on lupron until she was reminded we needed to talk about the possible cancerous mass she saw during surgery.

Great experience! Very quick appointment and wonderful professional atmosphere!

Jean Ayers PA was my provider who was very pleasant, thorough and easy to talk to. Waiting time was minimal and the office environment wasrelaxed and friendly.

Practice was very timely. I only waited a couple minutes before they had me back in an exam room. All of the staff I dealt with were very friendly and professional. The provider I saw seemed very knowledgable and took time to listen to my concerns and explained all my options to me. I would highly recommend this practice.

I am always glad to meet with Dr. Bornt. She is very pleasant and makes sure she has answered all your questions or concerns. She is very thorough in her approach about your medical history . . .wants only the best for you as her patient.

All of my questions were answered & I feel good about the decision I made with the help of Dr. Ayres

I went for a routine pap test,the receptionist, nurse and doctor were very nice and professional. Had to wait a little bit but did not mind, I would come back again for my routine tests and other procedures if I had to! Thank you!
