The best of the best!
I presented to Dr. Baker with sever pain and he correctly tested and diagnosed me as having a large mass and stage three colon cancer. He operated and "got it all" and was able to pronounce me as "cancer free." He gave me regular exams and five months later reversed my system and brought me back to normal, and I have been living without any problem for almost five years. Dr. Baker and the VA saved my life. Above that, he is a great guy to know. He's the best of the best.

We had a visit to Dr Baker in 2016 for my husband's cancer. Dr Baker showed great concern and how to prepare for possible options to help us not only financially but mentally. Thank you so much!

Most personable, extremely conscientious in giving correct diagnosis, and with surgical follow-up. Explains patient personal medical issues clearly and patiently. His staff is outstandingly helpful in scheduling and with explanations. I am impressed that Dr. Baker and his staff as well can maintain a calm demeanor with all the patients when dealing with such extreme medical issues.

Excellent surgeon and such a great person. Takes time to explain everything to patients and family members. Consider yourself in excellent care if he is your doctor.

Dr. Baker is by far, one of the finest doctors I have ever known. After suffering for over 6 months with debilitating pain and numerous doctors and tests, he was the only doctor who was able to diagnose my problem. He performed the necessary surgery and gave me back my life. His after surgery care was just as impressive and it was obvious to me that this is a man who does what he does because he cares. I don't have words enough to describe his expertise as a diagnostician and surgeon.

In December, 2015 I had emergency abdominal surgery done by Dr. Baker. During my five day stay in the hospital and the post op visits afterward, Dr. Baker always took the time to answer my questions and concerns in a most reassuring way. I have a high regard for his expertise as a doctor and greatly appreciate his kind demeanor.

Quite satisfied with Dr. Baker's attention to detail and overall care for his patients. He performed a laparoscopic appendectomy on me and ensured that the procedure would leave minimal scarring. Healing process has been easy and I was back to work in less than two weeks.

First I trusted him, Went to him for a consultation for a left inguinal hernia, small bump and had no pain at all He explained my surgery was routine and he does 150 of them a year and I would be fine, Far from it, His surgery left me in chronic mesh pain for more then 2 1/2 years ,after countless follow-up's, an reading the internet(which he advised me and my wife not to read) His solution to me was pain management and psychiatric counseling, Doctors Do make mistakes but will never admit it,
