Dr. Marta Bognar, MD

This was one of the best doctors experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in and Dr Bognar was respectful, concerned, very thorough, efficient, listened to my concerns and fears and most of all, didn’t make me feel like I was wasting her time with a frivolous concern. I thank God for such educated, kind-hearted people who are dedicated to helping people.

She is attentive, knowledgeable, caring and the diagnosis was spot on. Thanks for eliminating my pain and discomfort.

I have been a patient for about 2 years. I will be changing however after my visit today. Dr Bognar may have knowledge in her field but she certainly is lacking in compassion, sympathy and tact. Telling a patient that losing weight may help with joint pain is one thing but telling a patient that they are simply making excuses concerning their ability to control weight is very rude and unprofessional. As a doctor you would think that she knows that some medications do affect weight. Don't waste your time with her. She is useless as a doctor unless you're looking to be ridiculed and put down about your weight. I've read several reviews on her and noticed that a lot of them were concerning remarks she had made to people about losing weight. Seems like that's her answer to everything. So maybe she doesn't have much knowledge in her field and just uses that as her "go to" diagnosis!

Dr. Marta Bognar has been my Lupus doctor for 15years. I trust her with my Lupus and my life. She has been the best doctor I have ever had. Thank you Dr. Marta Bognar??

Her first words to me were you need to lose weight. Duh! I saw her 5 times 1 for an injection in my knee bc my knees and legs were hurting and each time all she talked about was weight. Turns out I have dvt blood clots that went to my lungs. Fail! Last straw was when she told the Pulmonologist who told me it was my meds and uncontrolled RA that cause the clots and she said it was my sedentary lifestyle. I work 40-50 hrs high paced retail job. I'm now in therapy & on blood thinners for life.

Can't get in to see her. Saw one of her partners in the past. Was not dissatisfied, but having problems now that I would like to see Bognar for. Her practice does not allow you to switch to another provider if you have seen another one in that practice before.

Dr. Bognar stays current and is very active in the field of rheumatology. She is always up to date with new medicines for rheumatoid arthritis. However, she is not very sympathetic with the patients pain. Therefore, if you medicine is not managing your RA then you can expect to be in pain.
