I’ve lived in small and large cities across the country and Dr. Allen is by far the best primary care physician I’ve ever had. I worry about the time that one of us decides we need to move away and I cannot receive care from her anymore because I don’t know how I could find someone equal. She always listens, remembers my complicated history, explains things thoroughly, and is willing to work to figure out what is going on. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Allen will take time with her patients and sit and listen. She is thoughtful about my care and attentive to what I have to say. I feel she views us as partners in my healthcare and is not dismissive like some doctors can be. She seems very smart and up to date on the latest research and I appreciate her kind and gentle demeanor.

I am astonished at a couple of these reviews, so I'd like to give you my review of Dr. Allen, as someone who has had her as a PCP for almost 4 years. She is certainly knowledgeable in health care trends and research. Her training I'm sure is top notch. What makes her special, is her empathy and care for her patients. She listens and converses with you, not at you. Yes she will use medications as needed, but the listening is what sets her apart. I would, and have, recommended to others.

Dr Allen is the best. My husband just had major surgery. When he saw her she already knew everything he had been thru. And he had been thru alot. We get great care with her.

I visited Dr. Allen about 8 times as my PCP. She did not listen, was uncooperative, and antagonistic. Terrible doctor. Very little compassion. I advise you to stay away from this doctor!
