Dr. Martha Laird, MD

I have seen Dr. Laird multiple times. She always takes the time to listen to your concerns and provide the best care. You can't go wrong with putting your care in your hands.

Dr. Laird is a terrific doctor. She always makes me feel comfortable, gives great advice, and handles all of my concerns with professionalism. I would recommend her to anyone.

My first visit with Dr Laird I found her to be friendly, efficient with the exam, she answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed. Some doctors have their hand on the door when they ask if there is anything else they can do.

Recent appointment was the first time I met her. She was not rushed and gave me the time I needed to ask questions. I was very pleased with my first appointment with her.

I’m afraid I can’t give Dr Laird a good rating. The first time I met her she was great and I felt we would have a good relationship. Unfortunately, the second time was not good. It was for my annual exam. I am past the age most women are to get a PAP smear done. Unfortunately, due to my exposure to a drug, it makes it necessary I have one every year. I told the assistant we would be doing a PAP smear. (Most don’t believe me). When Dr Laird came in she asked why the PAP test thing were not set up. I told her that I had told the assistant, but I guess because of my age she decided for herself that the test wouldn’t be done. Dr Laird said, in a very harsh voice, that next time she expected me to make sure everything was set up before she came in. Me? The second time was when I had a concern about something. She was very dismissive and not sympathetic at all.

Dr. Laird answered all questions - very caring.

My visits with Dr. Laird have always been honest and open about my health. I appreciate her clarity in her explanations.

I came in to discuss an abnormal finding in a recent MRI. Dr Laird was very thorough, she provided me with helpful and understandable information and I didn't feel rushed. She offered me choices as to next steps. In about 3 weeks she will be performing a hysteroscopy as follow up to this first appointment and I feel like I'm in good hands.

Dr. Laird is professional and knows her stuff. Very knowledgeable about bio-identical hormone therapy. Very gentile exams. Great doctor!

I didn't have a GYN doctor but needed to see one and was luckily able to get in to see Dr. Martha Laird. The person answering the phone and making appointments was very helpful and told me Dr. Laird is a GYN, not an OB doctor--that gave me a great deal of confidence going in that this was a specialist and I wouldn't be stuck in the waiting room while she went to the hospital to deliver a baby. I made the appointment and found Dr. Laird to be very easy to talk to. I felt like I had known her for a long time. When I tried to make a follow-up visit, she was completely booked; but the receptionist didn't give up. She told me to talk to Cara in Triage. Cara worked on my behalf, and my problem was resolved.. My complements to Genesis, Dr. Laird and Cara because they truly care about their patients. I can't say enough good things about everyone I interacted without Genesis, and I will be a patient of Dr. Laird's from here on with a special thanks to Cara.

Dr. Laird is just the best - smart, does not rush the patient and most of listens. We need to clone her ... five stars.

Dr. Laird is an amazing physician! She is always so kind and willing to listen to all questions and is able to assist in any way she can! I of course would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs her assistance!

Dr Laird is a good listener and asked me questions and gave me an opportunity to ask questions.

Dr Laird is exceedingly knowledgeable about gyn for post menopausal women. She is very easy to discuss all health concerns.

Hysterectomy was so painless and easy to recover. Dr. Laird is awesome!

I will NEVER NEVER go see this doctor again. They are fatphobic. This doctor believes that if you are any kind of fat, that she has the right to comment on it and tell you that you won't live a full and healthy life if you do. If you are fat, stay away from this doctor. I had to ask her to leave the room because she wouldn't stop talking.

Dr Martha Laird is extremely rude and unprofessional. She bashed my friend about her weight for literally no reason. When asked to leave, she didn't listen and continued to bash my friend.

I made an appointment with Dr. Laird for my annual GYN exam after learning that my doctor of many years at Genesis OB/GYN had retired. My wait to see her was minimal and my visit with her was exceeded my expectations. Dr. Laird immediately put me at ease. She was patient, actively listened to me and completely met my stated needs. The exam was thorough, yet gentle and the communication exemplary. I left feeling very satisfied with the visit and look forward to seeing her as my gynecologist for years to come. I highly recommend Dr. Laird.
