Lacking professionalism
Dr. Lozano has consistently been late to appointments and when I say late I mean about an hour. Make sure you clear out your morning for these appointments. Once they take you back you’ll be waiting for about 30- 45 min. Once she enters the room it’s zero bed side manner and she speaks to you as if you’ve inconvenienced her for even being there. She will not address any of your concerns and simply brush them off as nonsense. Be ready to ask for your own referrals and blood work. It’s an uncomfortable experience and I have spoken to other with the same experience. I have since switched doctors but when i recently heard of another patient’s discomfort I had to write a review. Some people should not be doctors.

Lozano’s nurse came in saying the referral I needed would be sent to the address under the insurance (my parent’s home). As complicated as it sounds, I didn’t want my parents knowing about my pregnancy yet, and I told her all of this & that I couldn’t have that referral sent to that address. She spoke over me, telling me there was nothing they can do and that if I wanted that referral it would be sent there and that was that. I proceeded to tell her again that I needed to see an OB ASAP since I’m already 4 months in therefore I need that referral and if I could try something else and once again, she began speaking over me and repeated there’s nothing she can do for me, arguing back and forth & didn’t once listen to my issue, so I told her I would just visit another doctor, then cut me off and said, wait one moment. So I waited, she came back saying that once I changed the address to my parent’s healthcare insurance to my own, to call her and she would help me. Unprofessional and rude!

I arrived at 3:30, other patients began arriving and started being called in as soon as they got there. I ended up being called in an at 4:30, got my vitals and pressure taken by the nurse and then told me that the Dr. would soon come in. Waited again, then she greeted me in Spanish (I had filled out in the paperwork I preferred English). She proceeded speaking to me in Spanish when clearly I was struggling. I told her I needed some help getting a referral to an obgyn and made it clear that it was my first time being pregnant so I didn’t know what to do. I asked about some concerns I had and got responses that were completely unhelpful. She absolutely rushed the appointment, I just felt like another patient to her. I ended up leaving with more questions and paid the co-pay for nothing. Seems like she has no experience whatsoever and just a waste of time. This office has the most unfriendly staff, dirty bathroom, rushed service, overall the worst experience.

We have been Dr. Lozano’s patients for more than 4 years. Under her care our total health is much better than before. Twice she caught my problems n proscribed medicines for me before it became serious. On our first annual checking up, she solved my first problems that other doctors either unnoticed or considered as genetic which I believed. Currently I don’t have to take any medications which I owe great deal to Dr Lozano . Additionally, she answered our questions n gave us the best advices that have improved our health. She also gave us advices on COVID 19 which is a great bonus after all she is a pulmonologist n family doctor because for our seniors n every one else taking care our lung health is crucial n life saving action. One more thing we think her staff are highly effective, nice n friendly as well. We would give Dr. Lozano n her staff five golden stars!??????

I rarely do reviews but this office is so friendly, courteous, and they always have a smile on their face. Dr. Lozano is very thorough with her patients and she listens. She does not rush with her patients. The medical assistants and receptionist are efficient when it comes to making appointment and sending prescriptions. The medical staff and the Doctor make my day go easier when I'm feeling sick.

I have been seeing Dr. Lozano as my PCP for years. Additionally, Dr. Lozano cared for my grandmother mother at Sharp CV hospital on several ocassions. Dr. Lozano and her staff always helpful, courteous and professional. Dr. Lozano herself is knowledgeable and caring. Overall, medical assistants always have a smile on when bringing the patients back to the rooms and excellent customer service. I am extremely happy with this office, I would recommend to my family and friends :)

I have been seeing Dr. Lozano as my PCP for over 10 years. Additionally, Dr. Lozano cared for my elderly mother at Sharp CV hospital when she was admitted from the emergency room. I am fortunately in general good health, but on the occasions that I needed to see the doctor, I found Dr. Lozano and her staff always helpful, courteous and professional. Dr. Lozano herself is knowledgeable and caring. Over the years I have been seeing Dr. Lozano, I have had two follow-up visits after going to urgent care. On both occasions I was able to be seen within a day of calling. As well, prescriptions were ready at my pharmacy promptly. This is a busy doctor's office that in my experience has normal and expected wait times. I have never experienced unreasonable waiting. On average, I wait 15 - 20 minutes to be seen, and there have been occasions when it was less.

I'm a recently separated veteran and am used to military healthcare so I may be a bit biased but I absolutely loathe how this office is ran. The front desk is very dismissive and the whole environment feels like you're doing the staff a disservice by being there, very rushed. The med-asst was the one who told me my labs were fine yet the issue I went in there for obviously wasn't resolved. The NP uses WebMD nonchalantly and the receptionist misspelled my name twice, causing confusion at the lab

I loved my stay at sharp hospital, from the staff to the professionalism that was demonstrated by everyone, except Dr. Martha Lozano. I was extremely surprised by the lack of knowledge by this well known Doctor. She never expressed compassion or an urge to be helpful due to my previous record of being in the hospital. Very unprofessional and disrespectful behind closed doors when my family was not around.
