Absolutely the worst Dr. I've seen
Telehealth
I will start by saying I started to see this man when I was 16. Even then he did not help. He put me on various medications that did nothing for me and made my symptoms worse. Not only that, he did not listen to a single word I said. I stopped seeing him after I was 18 due to going to college. When I could not find another psych when I got out of college at 22 I then had to go back to him. This was the worst mistake. The first session back that I had with him he made me cry. He did not discuss my mental health, instead, he chose to discuss my physical health like he was my primary care doctor for 30 minutes. On another occasion when I was in an episode, he made it worse and then proceeded to call me crazy and avoident. After several appointments of this happening I finally called the office manager and was able to switch to a different Dr. in that office. This man should not be practicing. He lost sight of helping people and it seems he just is doing it for a check at this point.

Unpleasant
Initially very friendly however, the Dr. did not acknowledge his patients feedback. Very difficult to transition into a treatment plan that made any sense. Also offensive and inaccurate.

I was terrified after reading reviews. However I just had my first appointment with him and thought he was wonderful! We did a zoom call and he was very thorough in explaining. He also fully listened to my problems and gave me outside advice on how to manage :) very kind not arrogant at all. Made me laugh and smile multiple times :) I’ve been to multiple psychiatrists In the past, and he by far is my fave! In the past I’ve been dismissed or diagnosed after 10 mins. Dr. Wolfson made me feel important and understood me. Overall would highly recommend him! Made me feel comfortable and I have social anxiety!

Dr. Wolfson is a terrific Psychiatrist. He is polite and tells you the truth. He does not sugar coat issues that need to be addressed. He will work with you and help you to resolve your issues. I have been very happy with the service he has provided for my children.

This man should not be practicing at all! When went to see Dr. Wolfson, he told my son he had anxiety and depression without having talked to him for more than 5 minutes. This is a man who never looks at you in the eye while talking. He was very rude and unprofessional. He was trying to put my son down during the 8 minutes we were in his office. I told him that he needed his medication refilled. He then proceeded to read his recommendations from a year ago. He said he advised us to bring him for counseling back then, which is completely untrue & worrisome because this man is writing things that are completely false in his charts.I would have brought my son back for counseling if that's what he needed, but Dr. Wolfson never recommended that.I will NEVER, ever bring my child to this office again or recommend this office to anyone I know.It was a very stressful appointment! He is not an asset but a liability to this office!! Too bad this site doesn't allow more characters to write more.

I am a nurse and applying to medical school. This "doctor" never takes the time to read patient history before the appointment. Every time I come in he ask me the same questions about my life. Like huge things for example where I live or what school year I am in. A real doctor would have noted these major details and looked at the case before the appointment. For example, the last time I saw "DR" Wolfson he started to question me on how I would pay for my medication. After being extremely confused for 40 seconds he realized he was looking at the file of his next patient....Avoiding how he illegally shared private information about another patient....The center of stress reduction excepts a lot of health insurance companies and often works with lower income families. They think these lower income families can't go anywhere else so they treat patients with no respect and like garbage. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! and if you can't..sue.FAK

This man is obviously too old to be practicing. He is disingenuous, rude, and very unprofessional. He had the wrong patient info in front of him while speaking to me. He would not listen as I tried effortlessly to explain my situation. Left office in tears. Spoke with the front desk and they figured out he had the wrong patient. He didn't even have decency to apologize for his berating of me. Please take heed from my experience....do NOT usethis Dr.

Stay away! Obviously I saw him as an adult but I wouldn’t let him near a child’s mind. His ignorance and arrogance is out done by his complete lack of kindness or compassion

After seeing him my daughter came home crying. He gave her a bunch of print outs about medication and did not give her any direction. He assumed she was looking for xanax and her mother was too. So crazy what a mess I would not recommend him at all please look out and don't let your child see him. Just look at all the reviews none good.

Our experience with Dr. Wolfson is not one I recommend to people who have children he has not been much of a help to my son . My son has been taking medicine for over a year medicines that a grown adult probably takes and since the year of him being on the medication he has not once ordered my son too get blood work how does he know if this medication is not damaging my six year old son he yelled at me today why I was there today he called me a liar about how my son reacts to his meds

Seems that likes to prescribe medication that he really knows nothing about, his suggestion was that I read the pamphlet on the medication because he couldn't tell me about it. I called for side effects of a medicine and got NO response from him or his office. And when my child was in a treatment facility he never returned any phone calls to the doctors there.

This child psychiatrist also happens to treat adult patients as if they were children. He told me that I WILL become a drug addict if I take a certain medication. Dr Wolfson YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE THAT PRE-DETERMINATION and I have every right to choose how I am to be treated and what medications I'm willing and not willing to imbibe. I will not take SSRIs or NDRIs here or there or anywhere based on my experiences w/them. He did not listen and insulted my intelligence. DO NOT TRUST this doctor.
