Dr. Mary Howick, DO

We have been patients of Dr. Howick for almost 13 years, and she is definitely one of the best doctors around. Unlike many doctors, she takes the time to LISTEN to the patient and then assesses the situation and develops a treatment plan. I am now 70, and was diagnosed with high blood pressure at the age of 25. Every doctor I had gone to before tried to get my blood pressure under control but were unsuccessful. Within a year of seeing Dr. Howick, she had my blood pressure well under control AND my atrial fibrillation issues virtually eliminated. Now that speaks volumes about her skills and knowledge in my book. Unfortunately, last week we received a call from Canadohta Lake Health Center that Dr. Howick is no longer there...a very troubling call as she had our trust. Unless we locate where she has gone, we are now faced with trying to find another GREAT doctor in this area of limited general practice doctors.

1000 words cannot even begin to describe this awesome Dr. Very thorough. Listens, understands, defines things so you understand. I have seen many Dr’s and she is no. 1 out of all. From Pittsburgh,Cleveland,Buffalo and Niagra falls she is tops in my Opinion. Hated losing her as my Dr. Just put me in a depression. But Good Luck to her future. Dr. Howick listens to her patients and works with them to find the best solution. She is very open to questions and she works diligently to make sure you get the best care.
