If allergies really go away by age 50 why have they charged me $1000’s of dollars to treat “allergies” and still miserable. Fortunately I have a new allergist who is helping me and referring me to appropriate specislists to assist both of us

Sadly, this woman told me to get off my allergy shots, I was too old she said. "Your allergies should go away when you get close to 50", they did not. I have had the absolute worst allergies, where for the first time in my life I was unable to breathe due to her advice. I was already at the maintenance dose for my immunotherapy. She never looked in my throat, never even touched me. I kept feeling like she was condescending, she was 'better' than the referring doctor. Horrible!

Dr. Maier is the best allergy doctor I've ever seen. She does not try to over treat you like some doctors I have been to in the past . She takes her time and she listens to you. I've never had her Rush through an appointment.
