Dr. Mary Sokach, DO

Been with Dr. Sokach for 10 years. Best diagnosing I've ever seen. Willing to work with me on 'outside the box' treatments. Never rushed. Always compassionate - puts my fears to rest every time. She even asks after my Dad and dog!

Going for years. She saw me when my so called family doctor refused to see me b/c of work injury. She is top rate. Her ability to diagnose is better than all I've seen in past. I am 68 yrs. Old so I've seen many. She will never rush an appointment, she treats with respect.

Dr Sokash was my Dr. and my childrens for many years. She is bright, explains things, answers questions and is not too proud to refer you elsewhere if needed. If you are responsible and genuine in your own self care and follow up, you will be happy here.

Incompetent. They dont return calls or answer phone. Misdiagnosed and over prescribes medicine thats not needed. Made me worse then when I started going there.

I went to Geisinger er 4 times this past week for what I thought was an allergic reaction . Next day made an appt with this doctor, they scheduled me an appt with an allergist but they can't see me til October. I called doctor back bc my symptoms were getting worse. There response was I don't know what to tell you?? Are you kidding me. So I went to Wilkes Barre General and they diagnosed me with an infection in my blood. Screw you doctor sokach stomach and all your rude employees. Nev agai

Condescending to her patients. Spoke to me like I was a child and avoided answering some questions. Blatantly lied about when she would call in an important prescription. Would not go there again. Save for a few nurses or PAs, the staff is awful too, mostly incompetent.
