Surgical repair
Dr. Burruss fixed a hiatal hernia I had and performed a partial fundoplication as I did not qualify for the LINX procedure. Surgery went well, all questions addressed prior to surgery, no complications. He was easy to talk to and explained the procedure well. Office staff is amazing.

I was referred to Dr. Burruss by my GI doctor to get the LINX procedure to help with my constant heartburn. I had the procedure but had complications from the surgery. The permanent nerve damage has left me with Gastroparesis. Dr. Burruss initially blamed it as a pre-existing condition...disproved by my GI doctor...he then admitted 100% his fault...only later after his hospital spoke with him, to deny and state that the constant pain and suffering from the surgery is normal and to be expected. I would avoid using him based upon his lack of integrity and lies. People make mistakes, but own up to them and work to correct. He should be more cautious when operating on patients...my daily life has been ruined through his mistake. He should of at least stayed consistent with his answers and not simply recommend a full on gastric bypass to correct his mistake...and then want to charge me for the next procedure.

I can't say enough good things about my Dr. Not only did he prepare me for and perform a great surgery, but he has seen me through a rough recovery (not surgery related) and handled my care even when it wasn't his responsibility to. I feel forever indebted to him for being God's vessel to help me get my life back. He's a fantastic surgeon and a super great guy! Thank you Dr. B!
