Dr Crawford is amazing! He really took the time to listen and address all my concerns. I never felt rushed during my appointments. He is kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely concerned about my health. He gave me several treatment options and time to think about what the best treatment would be for me. As a health care professional, I appreciate his time, patience, knowledge, and bedside manners.

I had ACL reconstruction yesterday with Dr. Crawford. Throughout the process, he’s been professional, transparent, and honest about what I could expect. He took the time to understand my goals after surgery to make the best decisions he could for my treatment. His team, the entire EmergeOrtho staff, and the folks at Southpoint Surgery Center all strive to give their patients the best care possible. I felt genuinely cared for the entire time. Now I get to focus on doing everything in my power to have a successful recovery and make sure their hard work goes to good use.

Dr. Crawford had read my X-rays and MRI before the visit and knew the situation. He did an excellent job explaining the MRI details and treatment approach. I especially liked his empathy and understanding of the situation and reassurance that surgery was not required in the near future.

Dr. Crawford and his staff were able to respond to my request for consult with speed and efficiency. Dr. Crawford was very approachable and listened to all of the concerns I had regarding my knee pain, clearly described a course of further assessment and possible treatment.

Dr. Crawford is not only a skilled clinician, he takes the time to understand my problem. He presented clear options for treatment along with the positives and drawbacks of each. I felt like a partner in my treatment and the results have been excellent after each visit. I can move again without pain.

While I feel like he did his job, I am disappointed in his bedside manner and the lack of information he provided. No smile. No sliver of concern. I felt like he was punching a time clock to get out of the office. Reflecting on the appointment and looking at the information on the MRI page I feel like the conversation doesn’t even match the findings. Also, if this issue is preventable I was given no information for the future. I asked about a follow up and was told they didn’t do follow us for this kind of thing. I just know I am on day 5 of not being able to walk …. No brace. No support bandages. So handicap plaque. Again, I know he did his job. I am just disappointed in the level of effort and support I was given. Maybe it is just me, I hate leaving any kind of negative review but I am just so disappointed.

10:20 appt. At 11:20 I saw the doctor. He is very knowledgeable and treated my symptoms thoroughly. Already feeling improvement one day afterwards.

I had seen Dr. Crawford for a ruptured bicep tendon previously, with excellent results. When I re-Injured my shoulder, he went over what my options were and the likelihood of success. In the end, I decided on a shoulder replacement, as the damage was my third rotator cuff tear to that shoulder. The surgery went smoothly, and time will tell on how quickly I’m able to resume my favorite activities (golf and pickleball). Dr. Crawford is an excellent surgeon and is very good with his patients. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Crawford was very easy going and new what he was doing because I have had my issue in the past and he diagnosed it quickly. He determined what the problem was by examining me and even looking back at prior xrays and showing me what it showed. He treated the problems and the next day I was much better. I was there with my wife with a similar problem and he was nice enough to fit me in at the same time. I am glad to know that he is there if I need treatment again

Went to see Dr. Crawford for both of my knees hat have been damaged through decades of abuse and hard living. Dr. Crawford was attentive and supportive in my goal to keep my activity level high and help me work through my injuries instead of just trying to get me to dial back. If you’re active and want to remain active in spite of joint pain, Dr Crawford is your guy.

I went here to get my shoulder checked out. My appointment went smoothly. I did not have much of a wait time at all. I got x-rays on site, and Dr. Crawford came to see me pretty quickly afterwards. He was able to answer my questions and made me feel heard; I'm cautiously optimistic that the treatment he proposed will resolve my issue. Dr. Crawford has a good demeanor and I felt comfortable in his care. Overall, this was as good an experience as I might have had, given the circumstances!
