Dr. Matthew Cubbage, MD

Dr. Cubbage redid a previous surgery that did not take. Dr. Cubbage is excellent Surgeon and has an exceptional staff. The entire ordeal was as good and easy as it could be under the guidance of his staff. My back feels better than it has since before the first bad surgery from a different provider altogether. I highly recommend Dr. Cubbage for spine problems.

From the first encounter I had with this office to the time I exited, everyone was so kind and professional! The whole team seems to function as a very caring group. This is rare in most offices I have visited. There is usually that ONE who lacks interpersonal or professional skills. Not in this office. I felt valued as a patient and cared for. When I met Dr. Cubbage I felt even more confident that I was in the right place for my care. I’m So grateful to God for being directed to this doctor!! I haven’t had a procedure done yet, but the consultation for my back and neck was encouraging!

It was a good experience. He surgically fixed the problem for me. His assistant Vickie was very helpful. I did not care for his physician assisant.

Dr. Cubbage is an excellent surgeon, but he also has developed an incredibly compassionate and qualified team. I have been seeing him for almost ten years and truly EVERY appointment and EVERY interaction has been full of clear and definitive information, empathy, and genuine care. It's hard to believe that they are SO committed to such a high level of care.

Dr.Cubbage is a great doctor. He is very professional,caring and explains everything very details. My son had just had a spine surgery. We are so happy we are in good hands.

I first met Dr Cubbage to discuss the options after having MRI, I was impressed with his obvious understanding of what the MRI was showing him, he then went through , in detail, the options that were available to me. I had been in considerable pain for the past few months and his suggested surgery seemed to be the best option.Dr Cubbage detailed what the surgery would entail, and I could see he was very experienced in the surgery proposed. Post surgery my pain has gone, and I cannot thank Dr Cubbage enough.

I was referred by Dr Cathy He to see a Dr for a back surgery. When I went to my appt instead of seeing Dr. Cubbage, I saw his PA, someone that didn't know my history, the first thing he told me it was: You have gained weight in your bottom, so you need to start doing some exercise, besides I don't see anything wrong here in the x-rays. That's when I asked myself why Cathy He had been given me all this shots through all this times, he made me feel like I was lying to Dr Cathy He, or Dr Cathy He was lying to me or I was faking my pain?Next time when I request an appointment, I want to see the Dr, no one else. When I did asked this PA to see Dr Cubbage, this PA never did return to the room.

I had neck surgery in which 4 vertebrae in my neck were fused. There was little to no pain during the recovery period. I was told in advance exactly what I would experience. His staff included two people that could find him 7 days a week to answer questions if necessary. I will probably need surgery some day to fix a deteriorating disc in my lower lumbar. I know where to go for that.

Dr. Cubbage was very thorough. He recommended me wear a back brace before doing surgery. In the end, I did have minor back surgery.

He was very thorough and direct. I like that in a doctor. Everyone was very nice.

Dr Cubbage had done a cervical spinal fusion that immediately took away my pain. So when I herniated my lower back, it was without a doubt that this was who I was using again! Pain free and moving. He’s a 10 in my book! Thank you Dr. Cubbage and staff

Dr. Cubbage was reassuring about my conditions. Tim was thorough and honest and so was Dr. Cubbage. His nurse was kind and helpful. He is not only a skilled surgeon he is also caring and patient with your concerns. I’d highly recommend him to anyone. You won’t be disappointed.

Dr Matthew P cabbage is a very excellent doctor glad to say this in my opinion I must admit that I was very afraid and a little skeptical about my surgery that was performed on the second of August but he assured me that everything would be okay I admire him very much I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for an orthopedic doctor I would like to say that doctor cabbage is phenomenal and also his staff Ms Vickey is wonderful I would like to thank Dr Cubbage so very much for being my doctor and looking out for me.

I felt he and his staff took the time to review my history, taking the time to ask questions. After three years of chronic pain, I finally feel that perhaps a source has been found.

I saw the PA - he listened intently and discussed my options and settled on a next step forward but was gently realistic and straightforward about my problems.

I liked the way Dr Cubbage explainedeverything in detail. Caring and compassionate about my condition, listened to everything I told him, was not rushed.

First, I want to say that there was a mix-up that left me waiting longer than I should have been, but I commend the staff for getting on top of it when they found out. I was sent to the back to get an X-ray, and after sitting there for so long and noticing everyone else's name get called, the X-ray tech came up to me and asked if I was waiting for an X-ray. Long story, I got skipped over for whatever reason, but she made sure the issue got fixed ASAP. I then saw Dr. Cubbage (after seeing his P.A. first), and I must say that Dr. Cubbage is amazing! He was very heart-warming, genuine, and gave me all of the information that I needed regarding my treatment options. He allowed me to ask questions and also answered them thoroughly. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cubbage!
