Dr. Matthew Cummins, DPM

I saw Dr Cummins a few weeks ago for long term pain on the bottom of my feet. He did a clinical review as well as new x-rays and took the time to explain how he ruled out some more serious conditions (luckily); then explained his diagnosis and offered good treatment options to hopefully correct my problem. I am already experience some relief but have few more weeks of self(home) PT. The assisting nurse was also knowledgeable and friendly, and the x-ray technician was very courteous.

He took time to talk to me and I could tell he really cared about my issue and me.

Amazing surgeon. Such a nice and calm manner to him. I was recently hospitalized due to a postoperative infection in my right foot. Two major surgeries. This practice, Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart Podiatry and his amazing partner, Dr. Victor Nwusu, DPM, is the very best!! Thank you to both of these incredible surgeons! I’m doing so very much better!

Dr.Cummins is a really good foot surgeon he also really knows his work and really cares about his patients well being I reccomend him to anyone who has foot or ankle surgery..

Only had one appointment and all went great Need to be seen again and my appointment keeps getting canceled, so far its been 3 cancelations ..I should not have to wait 3 or more months to get another appointment date,..might have to find another physician...

Had surgery and still healing, the staff is new and really working hard to get the new office running, if has not affected my care at all I love them all, Dr Cummings has been so hopeful that this surgery will fix me up and he has been so understanding and takes so much time with me. Let the healing begin.

Wish he cared a little bit more about me. Had surgery in January 2019 and found out my foot is not healed so he was suppose to do surgery and fix it and kept pushing my surgery back and then let me go in December because I cancelled too many appts.......really?? They knew how far I lived and they knew how bad my foot was and some days I could not even walk or drive so you would think they would understand but they dropped me and left me hanging with no referral to another surgeon and didnt want to see me period. Now my foot is messed up more and I can't walk at all and I have to find another surgeon myself. Just lovely. They were so compassionate and kind......NOT!! You know I hope they see this because they really hurt me and I thought they were going to help me. So just beware if you live far away and have to cancel because you dont have a driver or you are hurting so bad you can't walk or your sick because its FLU season......you might just get dismissed!!!

I had a cyst develop from a fire ant bite. After routine tests and treatments to remedy the condition, it was decided that surgery was needed before nerves and veins became involved. I was very pleased with how easy my recovery was and how patient Dr. Cummins was with my impatience to get everything resolved.
