Great Doctor
Dr. Diesselhorst was a great listener and really pinpointed the problem in my shoulder. I’ve had 2 injections that have helped tremendously.

Not so great. I made an appointment with him and paid $50.00 dollars. For him not do a thing for me. I saw his notes and he lied on his notes and said that I refused the injections, when I didn't refuse. I didn't say anything about to do the injections. I told him that a pain management doctor did do 2 injections on my hip. He told me to call his office to set an appointment for a injection and the pain I'm having is caused from my back. I just had a 3rd surgery on my back on June 29, 2021. So it's not my back, it's my hip. I went in with pain and I left in pain. I don't trust Doctors for this reason alone. They want to twist your words around to something you didn't even say

I wanted to like him because he is very nice in person. But after multiple falls, he just dismissed it and told me to use weights? Which confused me because I’m three weeks post op of a hip surgery and have only done a week of pt. I think part of the dismissal is because I’m a very anxious person, but I wish people who are anxious were listened to and acknowledged. I wish that he would’ve listen better and spoken to me about my falls, just to give me peace of mind. One of my falls was so bad that I ended up on my bathroom floor and the hip I got the surgery on was what I fell on. He seems like a great guy, just too busy to listen to concerns. It makes me feel sad. I really want to like him, but he is just too busy to meet my needs. His staff is great and he is very receptive at visits, but any complications apart from a scheduled visit doesn’t get acknowledged. I think he’s great, but just take this into consideration when thinking about the surgeon you chose.

My wife had hip surgery about 2 months ago, this Dr first and foremost wants you to understand the importance of your surgery, making sure you commit to your recovery and rehab. If you listen and take his advice, you will feel better. My wife’s hip is 100% better than before, he is informative throughout the process and genuinely cares about you as a patient. I would recommend this Dr

He is soft spoken but firm. He is a listener and will go at YOUR pace. He is conservative in the right areas of his practice. I would recommend everyone to him. He is worth every copay. Melissa S.
