Dr Dombrow literally saved my teenage son's vision after a sports injury that left his retina partially detached. The impromptu surgery took place on a Sunday evening, less than 2 hours after he was diagnosed. He was thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and had fantastic bedside manner explaining things to my son (and to me). Dr Dombrow checked in with my son regularly throughout a painful 90 minute laser repair surgery to repair the retina, patiently stopping and reassuring him several times when my son reported needing a break. My son goes back for annual eyes checks and we've continued to have a great experience the past few years with Dr Dombrow and the entire staff. He was incredibly compassionate and skilled, and we are forever grateful for the outstanding care my son received.

I would rather go BLIND than see Dr. Dombrow again. After billing me $7,000 for two office laser procedures, each taking 15 minutes I was left with a $1,500 bill that was not covered by my insurance. I setup a monthly payment plan. However, my bank changed their system and my payments stopped after I had paid more than half of the balance. Rather than contact me Dr. Dombrow sent my account to a collections agency. THIS WAS IN MIDDLE OF THE COVID PANDEMIC. If your hourly rate was $14,000 and someone owed you $700 would your first reaction be to send the account to collections ? Fortunately Connecticut has many fine eye doctors. Choose wisely.

Excellent surgeon who is caring, patient and compassionate! I was very anxious and Dr Dombrow allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to. He did not rush me and made sure I understood my diagnosis and procedure. He has an amazing team in the office especially Amanda. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Dombrow is an excellent doctor. Made me feel very comfortable and explained everything thAt he would be doing. He constantly asked me if I was doing ok through the procedure and made it as painless as possible. He also contacted me the day after surgery to check on me, that's a great doctor! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality doctor.
