Dr Fouse did my right knee about 2 years ago. Ever had any more issues whatsoever. This time I went for my shoulder. He was as on point as always. I will see him again once the shoulder needs surgery. Always pleasant and through.

I went in because I started working out again and after the 7th day I had a lot of pain in my left leg, the shin area. I told 3 people about it and they sent me in for X-rays. I see the doctor and he tells me I have shin splints, I honestly thought I had a stress fracture but when he said “shin splints” I was sure that was it and if someone had said that before my X-rays I wouldn’t have got them and saved myself $485. I definitely feel I was price gouged or received incompetent care here.

I had a bad, really bad pain radiating down from my shoulder to my elbow. I saw Dr. Fouse appx 8 years ago, and called him up right away for an appointment. Got in in less than a week and he again amazed me. He was able to diagnose me while sitting down and explaining everything. He gave me injections and boom, I was done. This was also all done with a gentle sense of humor and professionalism, and pain gone by the next day. I would recommend him to anyone for their shoulder and or arm in a second. Dr Fouse was right the injection didn't hurt and it also helped. My last Dr hurt so bad and it didn't help at all. Because of that I wouldn't have another injection until yesterday. I thank you for showing me they are not suppose to hurt and helping with the pain. Forever grateful

Dr Fouse gets my approval because, as a surgeon, he doesn't just rush into recommending surgery as the first choice. He was very thorough in assessing and explaining my condition ('frozen' shoulder & minor rotator cuff tear) via xrays & MRI and suggested non-surgical treatment, physical therapy, as the best first approach.He will take time to answer any questions, but is fast and efficient, so think about what you may want to ask ahead of time if possible. He also takes time to get you started with simple movements to prepare you for physical therapy.So far I am very happy with his treatment and do recommend him highly. Dr. Fouse is thorough and takes the time to explain everything to you. He did my rotator cuff repair in Feb. 2024 and I have full range of motion already. Would highly recommend.

Dr Fouse is excellent in his profession. Will do the minimum necessary to get you back out and living life. 10 months ago had a pop in my knee. Dr Fouse gave me injection and aid to come back if still ailing me in 30-60 days. Made an appt after 9 months as knee was having issues, then “tearrrrr” I ripped something in my knee on a Sunday. The next day I called his office - I had a appt a week later but they got me in that day. Dr Fouse scheduled MRI - big tear in meniscus and flap of tear flipped up into joint. Having surgery repair my injury. Will follow up with post op review. Not concerned as Dr Fouse did surgery 10 years ago on my knee when I did similar thing. It went great.

Reception was timely and efficient. Dr. Fouse took time to explain what the problem was and stressed that if I had any questions to stop his interview and voice my concerns. Explained the options for my treatment and tailored to my needs.

Due to some unique health conditions that I had previously experienced, Dr. Fouse correctly referred me to a surgeon who was much more practiced in operating on patients with similar health concerns. Which indicates Dr. Fouse's genuine concern for the health of his patients, regardless of who is best qualified to help the patient, and regardless of the patients condition.

Dr Fouse is wonderful, and so is his staff at Desert Orthopedic. The whole process was swift and efficient. I asked a lot of questions and Dr Fouse was great at explaining my condition and he had easy to understand advice about keeping my joints healthy and happy. He does speak quickly (doctors are under a lot of time pressure today) so be prepared to listen well or bring someone to help you listen and remember.

As a Healthcare professional done the 80's, I've said countless times that you don't already get nice and smart in the same package; but Dr. Fouse is the whole package! And he makes you feel like you matter, he's present and not like 'herding cattle' just hurrying room to room! I am confident, comfortable and rest knowing I'm in the best of hands!

Dr. Fouse is quiet, to the point, he has a good bedside manner and is kind. He goes over your concerns and thoroughly explains what can be done for pain. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. treated a tear in my shoulder and it recovered really well. He is a kind and thorough doctor but honest.
