Dr. Matthew Gaeta, MD

Dr. Gaeta sent me back to my Doctor in St. Louis. I was referred to him specifically because he's closer, my mom used to take me but she passed away & I can't drive after anesthesia from a colonoscopy. This is my second appointment with him, mind you he reschedule 3 times. Dr. Gaeta told his nurse that my medication is too difficult to order and too much responsibility & he's only here half a day, once a month. To sum it up he basically refused me as a patient after the 2nd appt. because apparently my medication is too much responsibility. Mind you I've been in remission for a while now so I seriously don't see how it's so difficult for him to just have to order my medication since he's my doctor. He is making me miss my injection date which was suppose to be today but he wasn't in all week when they sent the script over several times. He's a doctor for crying out loud his job is to treat people. But then he goes and refuses to treat people. I DO NOT RECCOMEND HIM, DO NOT GO TO HIM!!!!

It had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Gaeta yesterday in Perryville. This was my third one over the last 15 years, though with different doctors. This was the smoothest, most efficient of the procedures. The cleansing began the night before and lasted just a couple of hours; I was able to get a good nights sleep until the following morning when I had to cleanse again. The surgery itself went very well (no polyps) and the nursing staff was kind and attentive. When you have to have one of these procedures done, it doesn't get any better. I feel fine today--back to normal.

He is not a good DR. I went in for my procedure at 11am. At 2pm still waiting and he decided he wants to do labs. Potassium came back a little low so at 230pm he decided to send me home after me doing the prep last night and this morning. What a joke!!

Dr Gaeta is a very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose my husband on our first appointment with our prior gastro physician td us nothing was wrong. It is wonderful to have a physician who really “listens” to his patients. His nursing staff are very caring and knowledgeable also. We are proud to both be under their care.

Dr. Gaeta was excellent! I had some medical problems for awhile and decided to see him and so glad I did. He got me in for the procedure right away and the results abotu two weeks later. His bedside manner was awesome and help ease my nervousness. Wish there were more doctors like him.

I have always been a healthy person so it was unnerving to be sick and I was incredibly anxious about the procedure. Patty did a fantastic job of answering every single question that I had. Dr Gaeta is simply great. He has a wonderful bedside manner and he found the root of my problem and it's nice to feel good again.

was seen in the kennett office and had to wait over a month for test results. Had to go to the office and demand them on a day the doctor was in the office. I would not recommend this physician. Get someone who cares about their patients

His treatment was spot on, his team always gets back to me timely.
