Dr. Hefner, his surgical team, and really all of his staff is truly wonderful! Dr. Hefner is a VERY skilled surgeon and I am lucky to be one of his patients. This was a scary surgery for me and he did this with such ease and precision. I will forever be grateful for this! He is also a truly nice guy! (So is his team!) Thank you!

Dr Hefner is very thorough in his explanation of your condition and what is needed to correct the condition whether it be physical therapy or surgery. He’s not one to jump quickly into surgery unless it is necessary. He is very compassionate and caring.

Dr. Hefner is a very knowledgeable neurosurgeon who came highly recommended to me from my primary care physician. He is a very personable doctor. He explains everything very well; I have never felt rushed at any appointment that I’ve had with him or Amy. This surgery was robotic assisted which I didn’t know what to expect, but I was told it was minimally invasive When I asked Dr. Hefner how this surgery would affect my mobility, he said, by the book I would have a 5% decrease, but he said his patients have noticed no decrease in mobility. And personally, I haven’t noticed any decrease in mobility either, which is extremely important! I’ve gladly told many people about Dr. Hefner, and his caring staff. I think too, as my friends are watching my recovery and how I’m able to get around is a great testimony in itself! I love him and his entire staff, and highly recommend him to you! I thank you Dr. Hefner!

I had major emergency spinal surgery done by Dr. Hefner and he did excellent work. I couldn't have had a better surgeon. Even all of my stitches look great, and he gave very thoughtful, attentive care post-surgery. Highly recommend!

Dr Hefner came in before his P A. He was familiar with my case even though it was our first visit. He showed me pictures of my MRI and explained a concern that he saw. He ordered more detailed images, so I felt that he is very thoughtful about his diagnosis.

Dr. Hefner is one of THE best doctors I have ever come across!! He has now performed 3 of my spine surgeries, all with great success! He cares about his patients, takes the time to listen to any concerns or questions, and has excellent bedside manner. Depending on your injury, Dr. Hefner will lay out all options and tell you which one he thinks is best, and only uses surgery as a last option. I'm so thankful to have such an amazing Dr. with his skillset here in the Bossier City area, and try to let everyone I know, if they are in need of a Neurosurgeon, he is your go to! Dr Hefner is wonderful, he listens to what you have to say and takes the time to answer any questions and also explains the procedure in layman’s terms so us old folks understand.

Waiting room time minimal. X-ray technician fast and efficient. Wait for doctor minimal. Dr. Hefner very personable, informative and made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend both Dr. Hefner and his highly organized and efficient staff.
