Friendly, gentle, took his time to explain
I saw Dr. Houlihan at the hospital more than once for different kidney stones and the removal procedures. The very first stone I had a different dr, but for 2nd stone had dr Houlihan and after that I requested Houlihan the 3rd time I needed kidney stone treatment. He explained everything he would be doing and made sure I was comfortable with it before proceeding. He took his time and was calm and patient. I would go back again to him if needed. He even seemed to recall my anatomy from one surgery to the next and it wasn't that close together for the surgerical procesures. I have not been to his office but have called and staff on phone was friendly and helpful.

Had been seeing Dr. Wu the entire time. Went in for surgical procedure and Dr. Wu wasn't even there and wsa passed off to Dr. Houlihan who wasn't even aware, nor did he look, that I had multiple stones and issues. Had to go back and look at my chart to confirm. He told me the opposite of what I was told from Dr. Wu and when questioned, he said I was verbally abusive to him even though he was going to perform a surgical procedure on me without even knowing my issues or my diagnosis from Dr. Wu.
