Inapproriate staff behavior.
I have only met one staff member. Apparently the receptionist, but I'm not sure of her qualifications. I have no problems with Dr Hudson. But at one point the receptionist admitted to not renewing my prescription because I hadn't agreed to scheduling a colonoscopy. Not sure she has the authority to deny my needed medication because I refused to schedule a voluntary procedure. On a subsequent visit, the receptionist publicly berated me at the desk for not wanting to have a colonoscopy done, after I had explained my reasoning weeks before, causing me much embarrassment. I personally informed the Dr of my concerns. Now,it seems, they have ignored my refill request for the past week, for my needed stomach medication. I haven't been able to keep any food down for 3 days, resulting in severe vomiting and have spent the last three days sick in bed. The continued difficulties with the Hertel st office has caused me much mental, and PHYSICAL distress and pain/suffering.

'helps' until you need help
Dr Hudson figured out what my chronic issue was within two appts. I thought I'd get answers about what the problem is and how to fix it at my third appt. Unfortunately, the appt was cancelled last minute with no reason and I haven't been able to get any answers since. After several months of agony, I don't have the energy to start the process all over with yet another Dr. If you're struggling to get help for a chronic issue I hope you do but please try just starting with another Dr to begin with cause this is awful.

Highly recommended
Dr Hudson and his staff are the best, the way medicine should be. They perform 20-50 procedures a day, but a patient there for the first time has understandable worries. They are friendly, professional, and very experienced. Dr. Hudson perfectly combines advanced science and humanity. Highly recommended for gastroenterology, colonoscopy screenings etc.
