Lifesaver.
It has been 10 years and still going strong with both of my knees. I was at my lowest point of my mental health due to how bad my knees were and he took on my case after another well known ortho in the city humiliated me so badly because of my weight. I can truly say that if he had not taken my case then I doubt I would be here today. I have and will continue to recommend him to everyone that I know that needs to see an orthopedic surgeon.

Great surgeon. After hours help no so much.
Full knee replacement on Friday and home on Saturday with Rx for pain. Pharmacy out of med and couldn’t be transferred. Call after hours number and left message. No call back all weekend. Called ofc on Monday and given after hours number . Next weekend same thing with refill. Using after hours number given left 3 voicemail and one text and no call back. So much for after hours care. I’m not happy. Be sure to get after hours emergency number and hope someone calls you back.

Dr. Matthew Morrey is truly one of a kind. I first met Dr. Morrey approximately 1 year ago when he accepted my challenging case and performed bilateral revision knee replacement surgeries on me. I originally had bilateral knee replacements by one of the biggest Orthopedic Surgeons in San Antonio. Unfortunately , only 6 months and 9 months later these knee replacements both failed. I was in constant pain and could not even walk. I lost my job and went on disability. My quality of life was dwindling and even worse I could not find a surgeon who was willing to do revision surgery on me. I looked all over San Antonio, Austin and St. Marcus but no one would accept my case, as revision surgery is very complicated. That is until I met Dr. Morrey. He openly agreed to take my case and from the first moment I met him, I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Morrey. Dr. Morrey performed bilateral revision surgeries on my knees and both were successful. I am finally able to walk without pain again

Hip replacement is very painful and was a tough recovery. It was successful and still working after 2 and 1/2 years. Doctor Morrey and I met on a Friday afternoon 16 September and on Monday morning 19 September I received a total hip replacement. No time to worry about it. Dr. Morrey and his staff were professional, courteous, and got the job done. I hope I don’t have to have the other hip replaced but if you need to have a hip done he is a good one to do it.

I cannot enough about Dr. Morrey's professionalism and expertise. After many painful, debilitating years, he performed my hip surgery in February. Three weeks later I was able to walk everywhere without pain, giving me my life back! I am now in Italy and enjoying the cobblestone walks and scenic hikes. Thank you Dr. Morrey, you rock!

Being over weight, it was not easy to find someone to do knee replacements. After fighting with the VA for several years, I found DR Morrey. He seemed very caring and has a way of making you feel that it is going to be alright, same with his staff, all very nice. It has been just at a year and both knees are a lot better than pre surgery, are they 100%? no, but then I am 63 and would not expect them to be. I thank God for DR Morrey, the VA, not so much

I was a new patient seeing Dr. Matthew Morrey. Office was very clean, organized, and had very polite staff. Staff member was able to fit me in for emergency treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Morrey, his sense of humor, and his bed side manner. He was very knowledgeable about my knee issues and was not quick to try to move towards surgery. I definitely hated the injection pain, but will definitely see him again in the future!
