Extremely arrogant. Went in for surgery, and when I woke up, he told me that he did not complete my surgery. He wouldn't give me a straight answer. He gave me and my husband two different reasons why he did not complete my surgery, then went on to tell us that he will not be finishing the surgery and to reach out to the radiology department so they can finish my surgery. Very unprofessional.

Amazing. 10/10
An amazing surgeon. Even after surgery I must have called a few dozen times with questions or concerns and he answered each one and made time. He listened to my story and set up the plan to best treat me. 10/10 could not recommend enough. I thank God for him, he changed my life and I can finally go back to normal.

Don't call someone sweetie right after you, a resident, and a medical student all look at their anus together. Then you called me sweetie as you left. I am not your sweetie; that was disgusting. I am a grown adult human being. A person. I deserve the same amount of respect as you or anyone else does. The only redeeming quality about my visit with you was the medical student in the room. She stayed back after Dr. Philp and the male resident left and asked me if there was anything else I had questions about or things they should know. I told her I am not cis-gendered and use different pronouns than the ones that were being used for me. She wholeheartedly accepted and assured me she'll make sure I feel respected during my care. She is going to be an amazing doctor. Philp, You don't know who's been through what; I am an adult, I am not your "sweetie", and don't you think that's highly inappropriate of you given the part of my body you all looked at together?

The office is non-responsive. They do not return phone calls. Appointments are very hard to get. Then, they change the location of the appointment at the last minute, with little notification. So, is the doctor any good? We really don't know, we have been trying to get to see him for more than a year. We have asked our Primary to find a different doctor for us, but they keep pushing us on to this worthless group.

My experience was terrible. He attempted to have me get three surgeries for the same problem. When I asked him why I required three surgeries for one polyp he became arrogant and nasty. He never gave me a reason why he needed to perform three surgeries on the same polyp. Instead all I got was sarcasm. I will not use Philp again.

Has the bedside manner of a sour grape. I had the displeasure of having Philp perform surgery on my colon two times for the same problem. He told me he wanted to see me a third time. When I asked why I required three surgeries for the same problem he became arrogant and sarcastic. He wouldn't give me a straight answer. I would not recommend this clown to anyone.

Dr. Philip is low on my approval list. 1st he is extremely rough, being gentle or walking the patient through what he is about to do is not a quality he possesses. Zero bedside manner. When expressing the pain that I had he didn’t seem to care much and only offered a cream after significant pushing from my end. He also has patients undress while he the nurse and students stand and watch ! The solution he offered was not good as another doc had already advised me it was not an option.
