Dr. Matthew Reiss, MD

This review is likely to be one of many that I feel important to share with anyone seeking a wonderful wound care specialist. Just today, Dr. Reiss has performed outpatient surgery for a wound I have been suffering with for a few years. Again, I feel compelled to place this review here and praise this doctor on for the many levels he’s already achieved in alleviating my fear and the comfort in knowing I am in the best of hands. He is intuitive, kind, very knowledgeable and extremely skilled. I now look forward to my future in his care. Dr. Reiss cared for my husband at Torrance Memorial - stopping by on Saturday to examine him. Dr. Reiss was caring, upbeat. He didn't sugarcoat my husband's potential challenges - but left us confident that my husband was in great hands. Dr. Reiss called me as soon as my husband was out of surgery, providing a detailed summary of how the procedure went and next steps. Dr. Reiss is truly amazing.

Dr. Rice performed plastic surgery on the bottoms of both of my feet when I suffered second and third-degree Burns standing on hot concrete with diabetic feet that had no feeling. I was in the Torrance Memorial Burn Unit for several months on ordered bed rest and ended with dr. Rice. He did a perfect job applying skin hrafts from my upper thigh over a period of some weeks on my feet. The procedures were completed with no issues. but far and beyond that... Dr. Reiss is a most noble personwho worked in Doctors WithoutBorders. He is THE PERFECT TOOL IN GOD'S HANDS who answered my medical questions to any degree I wanted. He responded with confdent knowledge &positive energy.I was never worried. I'm a handful even in a good mood but I could never rattle him w my challenges for options/outcomes. I WATCHEDHIM CONFRONT GOVT HEALTHCARE STAFF TO ENSURE I GOT BEST REHAB FACILITIES! I CRIED DURING OUR FINAL APPT & I AM 67 YRS OLD. I WILL FOREVER SING HIS PRAISES! ROCK ON, DR. REISS !

One of the best doctors I've ever seen, and being a caregiver I've seen a ton. Dr. Reiss is knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and has a great bedside manor. One of the rare doctors in it for the love of people. Couldn't ask for anything more.
