Dr. Matthew Renner, MD

He is such a wonderful doctor, he did my caesarean section on september 20, 2024. i got pregnant when i was 39 years old and i had my baby when i was 40 year old , i so scared for a normal birth and i asked him if he could do a caesarean section, he asked me why i was scared, he said women who have struggled and carried babies already understand the feeling of being scared and he will schedule me for a caesarean section, if there were 100 stars, i would give him all 100 stars, i don't know how to describe how i feel but he is a doctor i respect and love him, he is gentle and always understands your feelings, women who are pregnant and planning to have a caesarean section, come and see him , he is the best Ob Doctor in Idaho !

I am beyond thrilled that I found Dr Renner. He is a great doctor and also has impressive support staff. Throughout my pregnancy him and his team were extremely helpful and put me at ease, answering my many questions. Another quality I greatly appreciated is that he will do his best to avoid any unnecessary interventions during birth which was one of my biggest fears. I have full trust in Dr Renner and that made my pregnancy and birth experience much easier. I can honestly say I will miss my monthly pregnancy appointments and without hesitation will try to use him again for future pregnancies.

Dr Renner is phenomenal! He took time during every appointment to explain everything to me, even though I am a seasoned mom. He would ask me if I remembered what such and such was, or what would happen at certain stages of pregnancy or if I wanted a refresher. I never felt like he was rushed! I completely trusted him to perform my third c-section (5th child) but he heard that an even more seasoned doctor was also on the floor that day, so he called on that doctor to assist. That was even better care than I could have asked for! The other doctor was called to an emergency so could not help but everything went fine with Dr Renner. During postpartum checkups he made sure to check in with me concerning postpartum depression because I mentioned in one of my appointments that I had struggled with it in the past. I didn't even remember telling him! There came a point where he could see that I was struggling with it and he kindly helped me through. I highly recommend him!

My husband and I were extremely happy after our first meeting with Dr. Renner. He made us feel at ease & was very thorough in explaining everything to us including the pros and cons of options. He didn't rush us but spent quality time with us & was very professional. His nurse & front desk staff were very polite. A call was received the very next to schedule my surgery. Both Dr. Renner and his nurse asked for a time that was convenient for me, making me feel I had some control in the decision.
