Dr. Matthew Reynolds, DO

An ER doctor recommended I put off hernia surgery. I tried to cancel scheduled hernia surgery with Dr. Reynolds. He refused my cancellation and scheduled what amounted to emergency surgery. I apologized for not consulting him first. Dr. Reynolds is a surgeon's surgeon, outstanding against his peers. He is everything every 5 star review says he is. I recommend him to anyone needing surgery. He is highly competent, very personable, great listener, and outstanding communicator.

Excellent surgeon with great support staff. Dr Reynolds was recommended by my physician for his skill and care for a multi-site procedure. He spelled out all my options with pros and cons and any possible complications and remedies. The surgery was done at Belleair Surgery Center with ease and all 4 incision sites are healed beautifully with no complications. He has good follow up and I could not have had better care.

Dr.Reynolds recently performed my appendectomy through Largo Medical Center. He was very kind..compassionate..and professional. He took the time to explain best and worst case scenario. He is a true professional and excellent surgeon.

Dr Reynolds is amazing. My daughter needed two surgical procedures , he performed one and orchestrated the other simultaneously. He went above and beyond to explain before, during and after. He acted as though we were the only patients in his care while he was with us.

Super friendly staff, nicely appointed office, and very personal service. Dr. Reynolds was extremely friendly. My wife is a Nurse Practitioner and I’m a physician and it was immediately apparent that he is very knowledgeable and practical. We will definitely continue with him, and we will both be referring patients to him.

Dr. Reynolds saved me after all. After 2 years of basic triage and neglect i finally found a doctor who cared enough to fix my cellulitis issues....he sent me to the burn team at Blake Medical in Bradenton and it worked, i go to rehab tomorrow for PT but would never of gotten this far without Dr. Reynolds, i just wanted to thank him and did not know how.....THANK YOU SIR!

I met Dr Reynolds in June this year after being admitted to Largo Medical Center. He was very pleasant and competent. I had a surgery for a very complicated condition. I won't bore you with the details but I will tell you that he treated me like a family member. He made himself available to my wife 24 hours a day and was a real comfort to her. I recommend Dr Reynolds with total confidence. I'm grateful that he was my doctor for such a complicated surgery.

Dr Reynolds was very knowledgeable and persistent to diagnose the cause of my stomach pain . After been in the Hospital for 5 days in severe pain and multiple tests were performed I still could not get answers. God sent Dr Reynolds to my rescue , he ordered a CT scan took the time to view the results himself and discovered holes in my intestines. He had to perform emergency surgery to save my life . He did a surgery for me that I was terrified to have. He has been wonderful. He’s available anytime for follow up questions. He always gets me in for follow up visits whenever I need them. He’s extremely caring and collaborates really well with my other specialists to come up with the best treatment plan for me. It’s rare that I’ve been treated by a physician who truly cares about me and my wellbeing as much as Dr Reynolds does. I’m very thankful my GI chose Dr Reynolds to perform my surgery.

Dr Reynolds saved my life, Diverticulitis

I would have never crossed paths with Dr. Reynolds have I not ended up in the ER at largo medical with gallstone pancreatitis. My enzyme levels were through the roof and I may have had to have emergency surgery had my levels not come down. I had doctors in and out of my room and to be honest there's are only two that I remember and one of them was Dr. Reynolds he came in everyday that I was in the hospital asking how I was and explaining to me what was happening what the next step was.

Dr. Reynolds is very knowledgeable, informative, thorough, & kind. He addressed all my questions and concerns both prior and post-surgery. The surgery he performed does not always have positive results, but he ensured me that we will get to the bottom of my sickness if the problems persist post-op. I am optimistic with a team such as his in my corner. I am very pleased with the care I received and with the outcome of the surgery. I have only high praise for him and his kindhearted office staff!
