Dr. Matthew Tice, MD

I went in with bleeding at 10 weeks pregnant and when I was given my results he told me everything was fine and to follow up with my regular doctor. I was handed the paperwork and had to read myself that I was having a miscarriage. It was the worst experience of my life. I was extremely confused. We had already told our family everything was fine. I don’t understand how someone calling themselves an “MD” can’t properly read an ultrasound report. This doctor is not worth anyone’s time. He’s clearly not qualified.

I went to the hospital because I just got chest tube under the lung that needed to be drained every two or three days. After a couple of hours of waiting, (which is to be expected) I finally get to see the doctor. The doctor turned out to be Dr. Tice. He was very nice and asked me my reasoning for coming in. So I told him that I needed my chest tube drained as well as the dressing that is surrounding it changed. The dressing around my chest tube was sealed and he asked if he can see it. I said sure. Then he proceeds to pull the dressing away from the sight so he can see the tube and when he was done he put the did not put the dressing on correctly and caused my chest tube to be agitated. After a few minutes he told he that they cannot do anything for me because they do not have the material. He then proceeds to charge me after not helping me and leaving me in worse condition. I asked if he can put my dressing on correctly since he ripped it off and he said it will charge.

Dr Tice was the ER Dr. assigned to my husband who was there for severe back pain. Worst Dr I have ever seen, did not care about patient history, did not listen and then proceeded to give a prescription for something my husband told him he can't take. He did not spend more than 5 min and then gave him a release back to work in 2 days without even asking what he does for a living. I guess he thought he was just there to get pain meds or something, but he is now facing a 5 hour spine surgery
