Dr. Vic took 20 years off my age when he removed my eye bags, the difference was amazing. Five of my friends went to him, all were thrilled with their results.

Not successful
I had a previous eyelid reconstruction with ear section inserted in my eyelid. Dr Vic removed that ear transplant section and made my eyelid open wide again I feel he thought it was scar tissue even though I told him to be careful to not remove it. My eye is opening so wide now I am in need of another surgery. I am scared to do another surgery but it will for sure not be with him. I know he works miracles and he is only human but I will not return.

Perfect eyelid reconstruction after cancer
My husband was told that he needed to have his lower eyelid removed due to cancer. We were devastated. But, he and Dr. Capel were amazing! Cancer is gone and you can barely tell that he had a huge chunk of his face cut open and removed. We are soooo glad he was here to see us. And, he's kinda funny too......he kept the whole thing light for us. Love him!

Missing medical records
I’ve been trying to get my medical records for several weeks. Calls are not returned. Finally spoke with someone who said they couldn’t send them because they could only find Dr. Vincinanzo’s hand written notes of my surgery and they weren’t sure that dictation had even been done despite the fact that my surgery was done 5 months ago. I need these notes at another doctors request. Not acceptable.

Superb Surgeon
Dr. Vicinanzo performed a surgery on my left eye to treat a nagging infection, caused by a defective inner eyelid. I have certain limitations due to a prior brain injury, but he and his wonderful surgery team took excellent care of me and he performed the operation successfully, with remarkably little post-operative pain. This problem had bothered me for a long time and I am immensely grateful to Dr. Vic for treating me with such medical expertise and healing my infirmity. He is also quite personable, humorous, brilliant, and open to all questions, including the many no doubt tangential ones I asked him over several months! I give him as high a recommendation as can be given.

Blocked Tear Duct
I had surgery previously for a blocked tear duct that was unsuccessful by an ENT. Years later started having infections in that duct. Was referred to Dr. Vic and he took care of it. Surgery was very successful (wish I had not waited so long for the redo). Only I see the scar. Office is friendly and professional. The lesson I learned is ask a surgeon how many times they have performed procedure successfully. Not everyone does this type frequently.

Great ophthalmologist-oculoplastic surgeon
Dr. Vicinanzo was referred to me by a plastic surgeon for my eye issues. Staff members in the Huntsville and Birmingham offices were professional and kind. Dr. Vicinanzo carefully answered all my questions and concerns at every appointment. I never felt rushed. Due to my particular issues, I needed to see a neuro-ophthalmologist for an exam and testing prior to surgery. Upon receiving all reports/results, Dr. Vicinanzo scheduled my procedure. There was no pain involved and very little discomfort throughout the procedure and the healing process. My eyes had minimal bruising and slight tenderness. My vision is noticeably improved. Any “scarring” is hidden in the eye creases. I am highly pleased with the outcome only a week after the procedure. Dr. Vicinanzo is definitely a highly skilled practioner.

Surgery Success
I was referred to Dr. Vic by my opthamologist when it was revealed that I had a tumor behind my right eye. I was very nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Vic quickly put my mind at ease. Although not many of these procedures are done in Alabama each year (and only by him and his partner for those that are), he was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. He was very confident (which helped) and my surgery was a success. I am on the road to a full recovery and tumor FREE. Thanks Dr. Vic!

Initially I met Dr Vic in Huntsville. He would come up to Huntsville once a month for referrals. My ophthalmologist Dr Steven's had referred me to him for an excessively opened eyelid caused by a previous surgery. He was wonderful. Dr Vic explained everything to me and answered my questions. I never felt rushed. His staff was also very friendly and made me feel at ease, especially on surgery day. I highly recommend Dr Vicinanzo.

Dr Vicinanzo performed salvage surgery on my daughter’s eye after she had an orbital fracture. He corrected and repaired a fracture that was missed by a surgeon out of state. We travelled approx. 400 miles to see Dr. Vic as he was highly recommended. We are tremendously in debt to Dr. Vic.
