Dr. Matthew Whinery, MD

Never trust a doctor from Texas. His specialty should be “Making clinics money.” Refused to refer me for allergies and insisted on a needless and complicated surgery. Welp my inflammation was from my allergies and the surgery would have just caused me undue suffering. This man is a weasel. Watch out!!

I like Dr. Whinery. He did surgery on me in 2017 but now I need a things opened up again and have been waiting 4 weeks for a surgery date (after an initial delay of 3 weeks because their CT scanner was broken). I called last week, and they had not yet submitted a pre-op to my new insurance company. I do not understand why we are waiting for his busy MA to do all the work on this, when there is another employee who schedules surgery for Dr. Whinery and a couple other doctors. If they don't have a date for me tomorrow, I will be changing surgeons.

Dr. Whinery explained everything about my surgery, was not rushed with me, and answered all of my questions in a kind manner. He was honest about the risks of the procedure and made sure I understood what those risks were and what the results of those risks would be. The surgery went perfectly though and Dr. Whinnery did an excellent job! I would recommend him to anyone!

Had a septoplasty and polyectomy. I felt confident and comfortable from the first consultation to post-op. Dr whinery was present multiple times and accessible and he did a great job! I would recommend him.

Dr. Whinery is THE best ENT doctor. He’s attentive and listens to your concerns. If he doesn’t know how to revolve your issue, he will research it to the the end. He saved my life when he diagnosed me with idiopathic Subglottic Stenosis. I will continue to do my follow ups with him. Thank you so much Dr. Whinery!

He is a very sweet Doctor. I thought I had a inner ear infection. He checked and said I did not. Was sure it could be TMJ. He said he would send me to a dentist. I said I did not have Dental insurance. He said this dentist takes Medicare. I am 72 years old. Well, like about two months later. I am still waiting for a call for the referral. I have never gotten a call for any one. It is very clear that completely forgot. To me that is not good

Dr. Whinery and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Whinery is thorough in his exams and always listens to your questions and concerns. I have never walked out of there confused or uneducated about what is going on. Every appointment has been a great one with Whinery and his team, I have seen him as needed for several years and will continue to do so.

Dr. Whinery is so wonderful with my son. Very professional and knowledgeable! We have seen many ENT doctors since my son first started having ear problems 8 years ago and Dr. Whinery is the first doctor I feel knows what he is doing and is being active with my sons ear infections. I’m still in early recovery from my septorhinoplasty for a deviated septum and likely previously broken nose, with Dr. Whinery, so I do not know the end result... however, I felt obliged to leave a review based on the incredible service and experience I received. Corinna answered my weekend emails when I had an issue with covid testing, and both she and Dr. Whinery were so genuinely concerned about the dilemma I had and made it all up with the experience they each gave me.
