I twisted my ankle badly and he told me I broke my navicular bone and need surgery. I had the surgery but a year later saw a different surgeon who told me my navicular bone wasn’t broken but that I have an “accessory navicular bone” which is an extra bone right next to it. I’m still in pain bc he put a screw into my bone that didn’t need it. I have to have corrective surgery now. He is arrogant condescending belittling non caring and horrible surgeon. Stay away!!!!

Dr. Wolenski saw me in the ER after I broke my ankle. He immediately put me at ease with his manner and concern; he is very pleasant. Follow-up appointments were easy, and it healed well. I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic issues.

Incompetent, arrogant, narcissist, self serving .. Please look at other reviews to validate our experience with this pompous individual. If you look at the Brielle Orhto Site you think this guy is a professional. If you dig deeper you'll see that there is a mountain of review that support this review. I'll go as far as to say his diagnosis of my daughter's break putting her in a boot with two fractures and come back in 6 weeks was nothing less than dangerous but irresponsible.

Dr Wolenski is awful. Stay away. I saw him twice, didn't listen to what I had to say at all, rolled is eye at me several times, had no bedside manner. As I waited over an hour in the exam room, outside the room he yelled at someone on the phone over and over. I asked the nurse what was going on and she said he had personal business he was dealing with, as I sat in the room for over 1 hour!!! Then he came into see me and was a complete jerk. He was also very wrong about my diagnosis. BEWARE.

Dr. Wolenski wanted to put a plate and screws in my broken ankle. I went to a 2nd opinion and was told it would heal fine without the plate and screws. Its 1 year later and my ankle is perfect. Im so glad I got a second opinion!

Dr. Wolenski is a terrific doctor and a wonderful person. It's strange to see all the negative remarks. My son broke his leg and Dr. Wolenski treated my son and my family with respect and care. He spent more than enough time with us, and thoroughly answered ALL of our questions. My son is recovering nicely. I have full confidence in Dr. Wolenski's abilities.

Saw him several times for a neuroma I had in my foot. After a few visits, he told me I was imagining the neuroma and yelled at me when I said I was in a great deal of pain. He stormed out of the examination room and slammed the door. My neuroma was confirmed by other doctors with an MRI and I had a successful surgery with someone else. Strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Wolenski. He was unbelievably rude and unprofessional.

I would NEVER bring my child to Dr. Wolenski or anyone for that matter. He misdiagnosed my daughter and said she had a sprained ankle even though the urgent care Dr. said it was broke. His exact words when I asked why he didn't re-xray her was, "are you going to listen to an urgent care Dr. or an orthopedic surgeon. We wasted months because now she did not heal properly and a 2nd opinion confirmed it was broken and now needs surgery. He never re-xrayed her before clearing her.

I waited over an hour to see the doctor for only 3 minutes. He did not address any of my concerns and cut me off or responded in a very condescending manner each time I tried to speak. He was very rough when handling my injured leg and seemed to not care that he was causing pain. I don't usually write reviews but I was appalled by his attitude and treatment.
