Dr. Maurice Lam, MD

I've worked in the healthcare field for 40 years with all sorts of competent physicians. However, unequivocally, I can say Dr. Lam is the best of the best, both as a physician and as a human being. As a doctor, he was using technology 30 years ago that is only just now being introduced in the local university where I presently live in OK. There is no one better qualified than Dr. Lam. But in my opinion, his greatest strength is being the kind of man who is personally invested in each one of us as his patients. He put us first and his saintly wife encourages him to do it! He delivered my second child, who was a high risk pregnancy, on Valentines Day when he and his wife had planned some much needed time together, but they put their plans on hold so he could be with me. This was the approach he took with all of us. He treated us like we were precious members of his family. He never took a one-size-fits-all approach with us either. I have a higher tolerance for calculated risks and we would talk matters through and come to a decision that made sense to both of us. Other patients were more by the book and he gave them the attention they needed within their specific comfort spere. We all had one thing in common, though: We all knew how important he was to us and we to him. We felt it and we knew it. We love Dr. Lam and trust him implicitly. I never made healthcare decision without him and have known him since 1981. Though I live in the middle of the country, I wouldn't hesitate to get on a plane and go out to CA if I needed him. He long ago promised his older patients that he would continue to take care of us until we no longer needed him. That day will never come! We will need him until we take our last breath and he will be there, now with his grown sons beside him! - How fortunate you would be to be accepted into his practice where you, too, would be treated like a princess and singing his praises. He is the best doctor one could ever had.

Dr Lam has been my doctor for 18 years i truly hope he reopens his practice. He is great!

I do hope Dr. Lam resumes his practice at least part time when he returns in July 2018. There is no one else like him. He is a wonderful doctor, as well as being kind and easy to talk to. Thank you Dr. Lam.
