Dr. Maury Morrison, MD

Absolutely the most arrogant Dr I have ever seen. I changed Dr's immediately to Drake Hollier. Will tell everyone to avoid this practice .

I went to this doctor because I am taking multiple medications/and each of them cause constipation-very painful. We did the colonoscopy/endoscopy and everything was ok. So we started on an 8 week trial of 4 of the new, pricey meds like Linzess and Trulance and two others. They did not work and I suggested-at least 3 times-to try next on a combination of two of the older ones. I have heard that works. He sent the message back to me that he had nothing else to help. Excuse me but I don’t think constipation is rocket science. Getting all my info from him and will find someone to work with me. ON THE OTHER HAND, HIS NURSE THERESA IS FANTASTIC! SHE REGULARLY ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS VIA PATIENT PORTAL. Thanks for making this experience less frustrating for me. BSJ

Dr. Morrison is a fantastic doctor. I have seen him multiple times and he is always attentive, focused on my health, and not rushing me out the door. He takes time to explain and educate. I will continue to see him.

Dr Morrison did my upper and lower GI. 6 month later still I am not well. His bedside manner is rude. He only wanted to know if I had insurance for a follow up visit. On the day of the follow up appointment, His office staff DID NOT CALL TO INFORM ME that the doctor was not going to be in the office.

The only time I saw him was right before I was given my anesthesia. The exact same thing happened with my son. When the family was asking questions he was o.k. with the fact that he had no idea what was wrong with my son and hurried us out. In my case, I never saw him again because his PA took care of follow up. I can say that his PA was great.

Dr. Morrison did not appear interested nor sympathetic to my abdominal pain nor did he display the slightest interest or concern re: my decades of suffering from severe Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue. . As female chronic pain patient in my late sixties, I have encountered far too many physicians with poor "bedside manner". Dr. Maury Morrison's attitude of dismissive superiority & his lack of compassion made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected.

Went several times was told my anxiety was causing my stomach problems. Last apt was three weeks ago, was told again my pain in my upper abdomen was caused by anxiety. A week later I was admitted into the hospital to have emergency gallbladder surgery and was told by surgeon I should had my gallbladder taken out long ago due to gallstones. Pulled up old ultrasound and said it clearly showed gallstones. This ultrasound was first reviewed by Morrison.
