Horrible doctor
This doctor does not care about his patients. He will tell them they are doing okay when are not - allowing the cancer disease to progress with false hope. He does not respond to calls from other doctors.

My father was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer in February of 2015. He became a patient of Dr. Snug’s shortly thereafter. The few times my father saw Dr. Sung were some of the most absurd experiences of my life. Dr. Sung never made eye contact with my father or other family members-spending the visit looking at a computer screen. He rarely gave any advice or direction-just asked how my father was doing and praised my father’s appearance as my dad withered away. My father passed within 4 months diagnosis-no one from Dr. Sung’s office was aware of his passing. Even after my father missed an appointment, no one from Dr. Sung’s office called to find out what happened or even to reschedule. We were on our own the minute we stepped into his office.

Worst doctor ever.He never even looked at the lab results from the monthly visits or he would have noticed that my brothers hemoglobin was minus 6. My brother was admitted to another hospital where he was immediately given a transfusion and admitted and diagnosed with cancer metastasized all over his body. Dr Sung was his oncologist but he just ignored my brothers pleas, I lost a brother due to his incompetence.

He had my brother, with advanced stage 4 cancer of the liver, bile duct and spine, make a long trip from Nassau County to the city to have an mri and cat scan. A few days later he had to make that arduous painful trip back to see Dr. Sung to get the results. When we got there, WE FOUND DR. SUNG HAD NOT EVEN TAKEN A LOOK AT THE TESTS AND COULD NOT READ THE CAT SCAN BECAUSE OF EDEMA. IN ADDITION, THE RESULTS OF THE MRI WERE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Also, it was apparent that my brother was having eno

Dr Sung is an excellent professional. He treated my mother and myself with great success from two different types of cancer. He is also an exceptional human being with impecable chairside manners and a down to earth attitude which I greatly appreciate. I always recommend him. I can never thank him enough for his outstanding care.

I wouldn't trust him with my life. A family member did and we regret it now.He needs to learn how to listen to patients and their families about their symptoms. No follow up. I wish that I could give zero stars

I took my husband to Dr Sung because he was a specialist in a rare neoendocrine cancer that my husband had. My husband never missed an appointment in 6 years. Dr sung never followed up that my husband was losing a lot of weight and had severe pain. Even after my husbands lung collapsed Dr Sung said that nothing wrong just muscle strain.I took my husband to the ER where they did an MRI and found mass on lung He was kept for observation and Dr Sung was called and never showed. My husband died!
