Nice Office
Easy to park. Office is well lit and spotlessly clean. My husband and son also see Dr. Gomez-Trochez. We are all please pleased with the care we receive. I would highly recommend this physician

Yearly wellness visit
Dr Max spent 30 minutes reviewing the documentation I filled out. That was the extent of my wellness check. No physical exam (which he did last year). I am very disappointed.

I really don't know how he is still "practicing"
Full disclosure - I haven't been to see "Dr" Gomez for a few years now. He told my wife I should find another doctor (Gladly!) because I don't listen to him. Well, bucko, that street goes both ways! He seems to be more "playing doctor" than actually doing the job. Plus, he is so ensconced in Western medicine and will not even consider another way.

Great
I have read the negative reviews here and while I don't presume to know their situation this has not been my experience. Dr Gomez has always listened to my concerns and worked with me it's why I like him so much. Also Kaitlyn is also fantastic. His nurses are great.

Be careful.. going to this office
2023 his front office money grab staff. Have hidden fees and paperwork you are asked to sign. That have fees and fines attached.. if Gomez speak to you about something outside of your visit request. He checks a box on your chart form.. then you go to front to leave. That is $15,00 plus your co- pay. If you call and cancel appts weeks before.. you will get in the mail $25.00 no show late fee..! And how do you proof you called to cancel!?? This is not a good practice for poor or average people.. find a small doctor that is about his patients first! Not a front office with used car salesman tactics!

This should be your last resort
If you are seeking care from a condescending, patronizing, alpha male who loves to hear himself talk – by all means – make an appointment here. If you are eager to have your sleep apnea treated withing 8 or 9 months of having it diagnosed – this is your place. If you’d like a doctor whose staff is inefficient and unfriendly – yes, indeed – make an appointment here. If you love knowing that the focus and priority of your doctor’s office is making money, rather than caring for people with kindness and empathy – this place is for you. I tried for a couple of years after my old doctor sold his practice to this unprofessional, money-grubbing man – but I’m done now.

This entire office is a joke. Save yourself a lot of time and frustration by going somewhere else. The "Office Manager", who is just a rude receptionist on a power trip, is the biggest problem. She will not even take a message to have a doctor call you. In the past 7 months, their office has made an error at every possible step of my treatment. The "Manager" never received my sleep study questionnaire via e-mail, which I had to re-send a month later to the exact same email. This resulted in a huge delay, and I had to have a second sleep study. I injured my shoulder, and when I saw the APRN, she didn't even look at it. I never received a call back after x-rays, and any attempt to speak with the doctor or APRN was denied by the manager (who also violated HIPPA by asking unverified via phone "is this "Michael Caliolo"?). I wanted to complain to someone, but she is the one in charge. I was dismissed because "She didn't appreciate my tone". Well, I don't appreciate the incompetence.

The lack of professionalism from the staff at this office clearly stems from the doctor. I gave this practice multiple chances and wish I hadn’t. No one is friendly and they’re more concerned with their cell phones then engaging with patients. The doctor is rushed and rude and shows no empathy towards patients. So glad to be done here and with a new amazing doctor.

Dr Gomez should really consider a different profession. He has zero people skills and tries way too hard to be “cool or funny” by constantly swearing and being extremely conceited in himself. I thought he just came off as rude but no, he really just is rude.

I went to dr Gomez because he took over my previous doctors practice due to him retiring and boy do I regret it. He isn’t even on the same playing field as Dr. Stern was. He doesn’t have the compassion or care for his patients, he rushes, and there’s so depth to your appointments with him. Now I’m on the search for another doctor and just hoping for the best.

Dr Gomez is unorganized, unprofessional, and arrogant. He does not listen to you, speaks over you, and has a mouth of a pirate with how often he curses. His wait times are ridiculous you make an appointment but yet wait an hour to be seen. I highly recommend you look elsewhere when searching for a physician.

Dr. Gomez is the most unorganized, unprofessional dr I have seen in a long time. Waits till the day prescription is due to be refilled to inform you that he can’t fill for various reasons. Every month I have to jump through hoops to get my necessary prescriptions filled.

Dr Gomez is amazing. He listens to my concerns and always finds time to help! He goes the extra mile to be sure that he completely understands you and any issues you may be experiencing. I have refereed him to people in the past and I will continue to do so. Caring, honest and straight forward with an amazing compassion towards his patients. I never feel rushed or like a bother. Extremely attentive and professional.

Hi. I'm writing this review to say that he was my doctor when my regular primary. care doctor was on a medical level. He was very professional and helpful for me after I had an MRI that revealed a possible torn meniscus. Him and his staff were able to refer me to an Access Rehab Center in the Waterbury, Ct. area where I've been working through my condition since, I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a quality doctor that will thoroughly explain things and do his best to help you!

I have many issues as far as Housewives go, but from the day I started seeing Dr Gomez he has been helpful one hundred percent of the way. I feel that he understands me and he actually listened to my concerns, whereas other doctors have completely ignored me and my concerns. I find that I get along quite well with him, and I respect him as a doctor. Hopefully I will be able to keep seeing him for many years to come. He is the best doctor I have had in about 8 years
