Dr. May Chu, MD

Dr Chu is amazing and is primary care giver for all three of our children as they have grown up. She is through, empathetic, has provided top-notch advice and care. The practice is nice and clean, but can get very busy at times (with lots of sick kids). The biggest complaint we have is that scheduling is difficult - we usually need to plan months in advance for checkups, and for urgent visits it’s rare we are able to be seen same-day by Dr Chu (or even at 72nd St location at all). The fact we cannot count on taking child being seen when they are sick is making us consider finding an alternative care provider in the area. We would hate to Dr Chu, but if we cannot see her it doesn’t matter.

The practice and experience does not feel welcoming or caring

Dr. Chu is super on top of everything, never misses a beat. And, is great with both of our kids.

Dr Chu is so sharp, kind, and knowledgeable. She immediately made us feel like our newborn baby was in great hands. We’re thrilled to have Dr Chu as baby’s doctor and as a resource to us as new parents!

For many years Dr.Chu was a good doctor for my son. She a good humor and professional in her work. My son has a 17 years old, he always felt good and January was the last visit with her. We are missing ?????

Dr Chu is the BEST!!! My 2 sons have seen her since kindergarten and now they are both teens! Always kind, engaging, thorough and provides so much clarity and warmth !

Dr. Chu is always willing to answer any questions and she’s very helpful.

Dr Chu is very knowledgeable and explains reasoning with logic and through experience. The attention s personal, her questions and answers are intuitive and accurate. She is outstanding!

Dr. Chu is the doctor for both of my sons and she’s incredible. Takes the time to answer all my questions and never makes me feel like any question or worry is too small. Always takes a reasonable route with any issue- best pediatrician ever! The staff is also fantastic

I had braces with Dr. Chu after an accident that resulted in breaking a front tooth. Dr. Chu was not only able to perfectly straighten my teeth, but she was also able to correct my bite and all the minor details I wasn't even aware of. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chu to anyone and everyone of all ages. She works just as well with adults as she does with children, as I saw with my younger brother.

Dr. Chu is the sweetest, most caring and professional dentist I have ever been to. She really cares about her patients and will do anything it takes to achieve perfection in a timely manner. She was able to answer any questions I had and explained my treatment plan thoroughly. Her staff is also very kind and helpful and the office is very nice! I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that needs orthodontic work- she is the BEST! My teeth are now absolutely perfect and it is all thanks to Dr. Chu !!!

DR CHU IS PERSONABLE, PROFESSIONAL AND TRULY CARES... Dr.Chu is an excellent orthodontist. She did an amazing job transforming my teeth and my bite. Dr. Chu treated both my son and I. We are both so happy and grateful to her for our beautiful smiles. But more over we are thankful to her for her patience. And her understanding that everyone is not the perfect patient. . I would highly recommend Dr. Chu to anyone who needs braces or any orthodontic work.
