Dr. Maya Mistry, MD

If I could give 0 stars I would.Dr Mistry is the most unprofessional, rude, dismissive and arrogant physician I have ever encountered. She is a sloppy “doctor” that does not listen to her patients, arrogantly dismisses them and lets them suffer in pain proudly.I had seen her multiple times complaining of a health issue before another physician graciously cared for me. After I was given much needed medication, her office called to tell me I was correct about my symptoms and offer me medication. It was too little too late after many days of suffering.Avoid her at all costs. She is terrible!

she does not care for her patients at all. I can give stories for days but just to not make this long, one time I came to her for a sinus infection, she did not want to give me anything. This was during covid times and I worked at the same hospital organization she works for. She told me if it didn't go away in 10 days after seeing me in pain and discomfort then to come back to her. I told her I needed something asap because I could not go back to work unless symptom free. She also knew this was the rule since again we work for same organization. She didn't care, I went to urgent care and they could not believe she did not send me a prescription. I felt bad after 2 days on antibiotics.

I was concerned about my leg pain and she said that will be another time. awful doctor. she never listened to any other concerns I had. it was basically she was the doctor and do this as I say, not helpful at all

I had a terrible experience with said doctor. I refused the weight check multiple times and she continued to pressure me into giving my weight. After I had informed her that I was upset with the way things were going with my weight and it was a contributing factor to my anxiety. She persisted to ask my weight after bringing up the same point to her. Her response was this is the only way she would count my appointment as a physical.Mind you I got billed $200 last year because she incorrectly coded my physical as diagnostic and wouldn’t change the input. Would run far away if they try to push her on you to be your doctor.

Doesn't answer questions or give an opinion. Not feeling the love or feeling better. Ok for young mothers, NOT for senior citizens
