Long term patient with MS
My son has MS. He also has panic disorder and multiple other health issues. After his last visit with Dr. Hasbani and Doctor Hasbnis’ recommendation of an MRI, we finally had an MRI on Dec. 31, 2024. He was in the hospital at the time for another issue, but still had the MRI. The hospital doctors had stopped my sons MS medication while in the hospital. He was soon released from the hospital shortly after the MRI and we have been trying to reach Dr. Hasbani to get my son back on his medication. We have been calling the office for 3 months now and only get everyones voice mail. We have left messages for both Leah & Susan who we ALWAYS spoke with before and have not received a call back or message from anyone! He was on a medication that he has to start at a lower dose now to start it again, or start a new medication. He has not had any medication now for all those months. All we are asking for is a response. After being a patient since 2013 some type of response would be appreciated.

A quality of life giving back to me
Dr. Hasbani was the first neurologist knowledgeable enough to understand my symptoms, test for complex conditions and diagnose after years of symptoms and struggles. I now have comprehensive care for my diagnosis and a quality of life I was losing rapidly before becoming his patient.

Patient care NOT top priority. Never return calls
I suffer from chronic migraines and I received the worst care I've ever experienced from this office. After a few old school meds that did nothing, the solution was B0t0x(he boasted about how many people come to him for B0t0x). It was helpful in diminishing but not eliminating my migraines. After 2 treatments using 'samples,' the office cancelled my 3rd appointment and told me that 'they didn't get their shipment of B0t0x' and that they'd call me when it came in. They never called. After leaving multiple friendly messages the only way I got an answer was to make an in person appointment for 'increased migraines.' This took months. I was suffering in extreme pain every day. They didn't care. I was told that it was a pharmacy and insurance issue and then the office completely ghosted me. I have NO problems getting B0t0x from my new neurologist... it was all BS. Their primary concern is making money.

I have been Dr. Hasbani’s patient for over 10 yrs.
Dr. Mayer Hasbani gave me his next available appointment, because I had severe back pain. He always sees me in a timely fashion. He is knowledgeable and has always listened carefully. He is concise, but anything but smug. He likes to get to the source of the problem quickly, so he can best help me. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

Incompetent
First, the practice is extremely disorganized. You may end up waiting over an hour for your appointment. My appointment was only around 8-10 minutes and he frankly seemed annoyed the whole time. He was not even pretending to pay attention. He is smug and arrogant but really shouldn't be considering he was less well read than I (a layperson) was on the latest treatments and medicines. Really cant see any positives with this guy. Save yourself the trouble.

If you’re looking for a neurologist that is ignorant, dismissive and rude, here’s your guy!! Ignores your medical history and rushes you in and out. And if you think you’re going to ask any questions while you’re in there, think again. It’s a waste of his time! An absolute joke. On top of it, the office looked totally unorganized. I’m a long term patient who knows how to interact with medical professionals. I strongly recommend you seek out another doctor for your neurological needs.

I have seen Dr Hasbani for over 10 years!! He is so knowledgeable and is up on all the new treatments. When I go to my appointments I am seen rather promptly, i find he is very to the point and never wastes my time but at the same time he listens to me!! He has helped me so much with my migraines and I trust him completely the medication plan has really helped improve my migraines. Dr Hasbani has also helped my daughter with her migraines we will never go to another neurologist as long as he is practicing!!!

This “doctor” was rude, inconsiderate and smug. He took zero time listening and was quick to blame our referring doctor. He gave us NO reason to trust him. I will never return and feel sorry for anyone seeking his help.

I don't think Dr. Hasbani is capable of emphaty. I went through a biopsy, two MRI and lumbar puncture and yet he never felt compqssion or had abything nice to say. During my appointments, he calls m3 with his finger, not but my nam3. His office is filthy all the time. I have been calling for four days now to hear the results of my latest test without hearing back from him.

I first came to Dr. Josh Hasbani in April of 2019 reporting frequent episodes of dizziness, double vision and imbalance. The episodes had persisted over several years and occurred most days; lasting from 10 min to 4 hours. Dr. Hasbani's quick assessment led to a diagnosis of migrainous vertigo. He prescribed medication coupled with vestibular balance therapy. My vertigo occurances dramatically subsided in just 2 months. Now, after 9 months, the episodes have decreased to no more than once per month; each lasting 10 min or less. I am grateful to Dr. Hasbani for restoring my quality of life and for remaining open and responsive to my questions and concerns.

Most unpleasant, uninterested doctor I have ever experienced. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and that I was an unwelcome nuisance. I don’t need charisma and unnecessary small talk, but at least act as if care about the health issue I’m seeing you about and perhaps educate me with your expertise to help me be a better informed patient. This guy almost rolls his eyes when you ask him a question. I don’t believe any of his positive reviews. I will never go back.

Would never recommend Dr Hasbani to anyone. Rude, rushed and no time offered to explain suspected diagnosis, which folllowing MRI with another Dr was not accurate, and no time offered to discuss possible treatment. Didnt have us sit in the office, spoke to my hard of hearing mother with his back turned and on his computer. This is my third attempt at this survey, he was that bad. I put 3 stars becuase I suspect system will not accept a bad review. I've given more detail on another site.

I was having clear symptoms of MS when I was referred to Dr. Hasbani. Dr. Hasbani was efficient, yet professional, and extremely diagnostic. I had already lost feeling in my hands and arms and had trouble walking. Dr. Hasbani's rapid assessment and treatment changed everything. I am walking, and even running now. Dr. Hasbani has worked with me over the past year and has always made himself available. Excellent neurologist! Thank you
