Dr. Mayssa Zayat, MD

When we left the office the first thing my eleven year old said was “she thought we were crazy!”Definitely not the impression you want your children having of any medical physician! She first began asking why we were there. I thought she just wanted us to explain, but she kept interrupting me. She finally stated that her labs look fine! She then began asking how or why we were even seen by a rheumatologist. I tried to explain the reason, but she didn’t want to listen long enough to get the story. First time visits at specialist’s like this have always been at least 30 minutes. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Even scheduling the scope she did not want to go by my availability. I was not impressed with how she interacted with my child. She barely spoke to her which is not what happens at Pediatric Clinics elsewhere.

I am asked to leave a review for a 5 minute interaction. I am unsure about the doctor and their abilities because my appointment could have been a phone call if even that. I drove six hours for this appointment to be told “your child needs a scope come back in two weeks” This is unknown territory for me so I didn’t know what to expect going into this appointment but I for sure did not expect six hours of travel for something that could have been a phone call to schedule a scope. An entire day was wasted and a day of school missed for my child. I cannot speak on the doctors abilities but in the future I hope this is taken into consideration when they have people driving for hours. Hopefully after the next interaction I can leave a better review.

Dr. Zayat has followed my daughter since birth. She's amazing with the girls and helped us figure out what my daughter's allergies are. We had a great experience!

Dr. Zayat monitored Lexi's weight since she was born til she was 9 years. I was happy with the care and we could not have asked for a better care. she was always helpful and always caring and amazing

We were seen promptly. Good news for Cam. he is doing well and we are happy with the care that dr. Zayat provided .

I am very very happy.I am at ease. I do not have to worry about him vomiting at night anymore. I can let him sleep in his own room without worrying. We highly recommend Dr. Zayat.
