I can’t say enough incredible things about Dr. Bedri. The care that I received from him and his team during the most difficult time in my life is unmatched. I continue to be absolutely floored by the results I received from his work. Deciding to have Dr. Bedri perform my breast reconstruction surgery was the best decision I made. When I went to my first appointment, I was very anxious. But my anxiety melted away as I came to trust completely in Dr. Bedri’s abilities and advice. He was compassionate at every step of my battle against cancer. His PAs were available to answer all my questions after surgery. And the end result was even better than I had imagined. But most importantly, he is a PERFECTIONIST. My reconstruction looks amazing. I wasn’t interested in implants, so after the breast tissue was removed, Dr. Bedri did a DIEP Flap surgery, where fat/tissue was transplanted from my abdomen to my breasts. I was fortunate to have been able to save my nipples (I understand that he also works with a great tattoo artist, if nipples can't be saved), and can honestly say that chest looks very much like it did prior to the mastectomy…with a little more shape and plumpness. I didn’t want a drastic change, and couldn't be happier with the final result. I would recommend Dr. Bedri to absolutely anyone who needs reconstruction...without hesitation.

At a young age of 31, I heard the words you have breast cancer. Having good medical insurance, I had a lot of locations/options, some in NYC I could have chosen for my surgery. I was referred to Dr. Bedri in February of this year after a breast cancer diagnosis which left me in a total emotional shock. I met with him the first time and he was able to put me at complete ease and I went home filled with hope of an outcome of which I was going to be pleased with.
