Professional care
I am impressed by the great care I've had with Dr. Sires. He is kind, efficient, and professional. He doesn't waste my time and I don't waste his. I like how I can fill out my forms online a couple days ahead of my appointment instead of having to try to balance a clipboard on my lap, rushing, just before I'm called in to the exam room. The waiting time is minimal after the registration desk check in and the visit duration is fine with me. He asks several times if I have any questions and he listens. I like his calm non-arrogant "bedside manner". His medical techs and blood draw techs are efficient and friendly. I have zero complaints and my meds are called in promptly. I have had no concerns with my care. I was even able to get my 2nd Covid booster shot right then during my annual checkup. Very impressed. I feel respected during my visit and have recommended him to friends. I have never had any problems at all with my care.

Second review for this doctor, who sees my 89 year old mother. He has made 3 pharmaceutical mistakes in the last year. I'm done & I'm finding a new doctor. Tele-med visit in 2020: Rushed appointment, talking over my mom instead of listening to her. She showed him the box and told him the name, but he ordered the WRONG Rx. Dec 2021: Dr was rushed, AGAIN making mistakes in her medication that we didn't know until the pharmacy sent her meds with the WRONG dosage. He must have checked the box on the computer for a refill of two of her medications that should have been refilled by her Neuro & Hematologist. Because of this, her dosages were incorrect. What he SHOULD have refilled were her meds for blood pressure & anxiety. I had to contact the office for correct refills. Jan 2021: Sent refill to WRONG pharmacy. She only has one pharmacy on file, so I asked the receptionist to fix this error and resend the Rx to the correct pharmacy. No senior should see this doctor.

If I could give a negative response I would. If you go to specialists he refuses to discuss anything related. He says ‘I’m here to save your life’ but won’t look at your overall health. Loves to order tests and refer you out if anything seems difficult. Is rude and condescending and can be heard trashing patients in other rooms. Am looking to find another Internist as fast as possible. Does not like to use the stethoscope or play doctor.

If I could give negative stars I would. First and only time I will see this Dr. He didn’t ask once why I was coming to see him. Immediately started talking about routine blood tests etc. I had to interrupt him just to explain I have symptoms that are concerning and that’s why I am here. He states “well that’s not good” and continues with his yearly physical exam. All he was interested in we referring me out to a specialists while telling me that he isn’t “trained” to handle ANY of my issues. The one referral he made was incomplete and I couldn’t make an appt. with the specialist bc it was incomplete. He didn’t give me a diagnosis or any indication of what he thought might be wrong. He outright refused to help me with any of my issues. I was told he wouldn’t even discuss other things that are wrong with me unless I made a follow up appt. Left worse than I arrived. Only good thing about this doc was his nurse. Worst doc ever, period!

Overall a bit rude and concerningly rushed. First appointment ever with Dr. Sires, he rushed me out of the office inside of 15 minutes. NO communication when refills are requested, and refuses to see you if you're 10 or more minutes late, despite the appointment taking about as much time. I'll be looking for a new GP as I feel he just cranks patients out for higher pay instead of wanting to treat them.

Dr. Sires performed a thorough physical exam for me. I am mid-thirties and went in knowing I had a specific problem and due to my line of work am a very vocal personal advocate when it comes to my healthcare. He listened to my concerns, requested appropriate lab work, and made the necessary referrals. He and his staff were professional and the office was nice.

He didn't listen. Immediately told me I needed gastric bypass and told me I was diabetic despite admitting later in the conversation I was not actually in the diagnosed range for even pre-diabetic (this was after I told him my cardiologist said my A1C was fine). Then I show up at the pharmacy and he's prescribed metformin for me without any discussion. A drug with terrible side effects I will not be taking. Terrible doctor experience

It seems Mazen has a problem with his work record. His IHC page say he’s been in practice for 11 to 23 years. We’re missing 12 years. My experience with Mazen (I cant bring myself to calling him Dr Mazen Sires, was embarrassing for my wife and I. I would recommend a Vet over Mazen!

My wife made an appointment with Mazen Sirus for specific issues. Instead, he ignored her and practically called her fat and only talked about how she needed to lose weight. When she explained the two autoimmune diagnoses she had recently received (why she was there!) he said sorry, he could only address 2 complaints at a time, and they hit the limit. When she asked for a referral to a rheumatologist, his assistant checked and said Sirus refused and instead he said wanted her to lose weight first. Her autoimmune disorders have severely affected her digestive system. She needs to see a specialist. Instead this Bozo the Clown named Mazen Sirus throws my wife's wight in her face, shames her for it, tries to get her to look into invasive surgeries and weight-loss medications with terrible side effects. Mazen Surus is unprofessional and a bad doctor who does not listen to his patients and withholds necessary medical for no good reason.

My husband and I saw him at the same time. He took ok care of me but didn’t do much with my husband. My husband is 88, has had a triple bypass, plus he had questions. Dr Sires did a lot of talking and very little listening. He appeared to be focused on himself and not at all concerned or interested in us. We will not be coming back and have found another doctor. I am wondering what kind of grades Dr Sires got in MED school!
