Dr. Maziar Zamani, MD

Dr. Zamani is one of the most thorough and professional doctors I have ever met. He takes time to listen address each concern and is capable of explaining no matter what level of understanding you may have. I am in the medical profession and speak more highly of Dr. Zamani that I have have other doctors that I have seen.

Having had the opportunity to have not only as my physician but both my parents I’ve experienced Dr Zamani as a fine diagnostician, communicator and sensitive practitioner. He listens attentively and considers all sides of the presented data— labs, findings and patient input. He is a rarity in today’s healthcare system. I value even more the 16 years he was our family physician as I have tried to find another internist in our new retirement community. I am very grateful to have been his patient.

Dr. Zamani combines his skills and training in medicine and management. He quickly evaluates the immediate medical situation, mentally explores the etiology and potential outcomes, and uses his judgement to propose a course of action.

After 4 months under Dr. Zamani’s intensive care my health has improved dramatically. I attribute this entirely to his unique skill set and wide experience in multiple medical areas, specifically pulmonology, pharmacology, as well as cardiology. I recently saw Dr. Zamani regarding a number of ongoing health issues. A number of lab tests were performed and he carefully went through and explained all of the lab findings with me. He gave me a very thorough exam and recommended a course of diet, exercise and and future testing for me to follow.

Dr Z has been my internist for a few years. I always appreciate his thorough explanation of lab results and what further treatments are indicated. His nurse practitioners are also very good communicators and always return calls the same day.

Very knowledgeable, nice guy, and really takes the time to address whatever concerns you’re having as a patient.

I’m a new patient of Dr Zamani and so far it’s been a wonderful experience. In fact, Dr Zamani called me at almost 9:00pm to address some Covid related issues and questions. I was referred to Dr Z by a nurse friend who is also his patient. I had annual blood work done through my OBGYN and had a couple of issues come up. Dr Z went over my results with me - this was my first visit- explained everything, pointed out the good, and gave me a game plan for dealing with my issues. As a petite person, I had a doctor, years ago, blow off my cardiac concerns because I was “ thin” . Dr Z had a plan, and I thanked him for taking it seriously. I referred my husband and three daughters to him immediately. My daughter has already made an appointment. Dr Z took time and explained everything to me detail. I am super pleased!

Dr Z is definitely at the top of the heap, the pinnacle of the pyramid of physicians you could choose from. This man thinks clearly, connects the dots, takes time to explain, allows you to be real with him, human to human, doesn’t make you feel rushed or like a number. Dr Z is thorough, brilliant with decoding your bloodwork to help you achieve optimum health. With all his brilliance, he never condescends, but conveys humility, respect and equality. He understands we are more than just a medical issue, we are entire human beings sometimes needing a listener, complicated people who need someone to see how all our working parts connect. I absolutely love him, so thankful I found him many years back, and have sent many people to him, who agree with me. (I may have to stop that. I want to be sure he always can fit me into his schedule.) If you pray, pray that he remains healthy, and does not burn out. He’s one of a kind... the best kind.

I took my 99 year old mother for her first visit with Dr. Zamani. He was kind, thorough, compassionate and observant. He wasn't rushed and listened well.

Dr. Zamani has been my family internist for at least 7 years. He is very dedicated to our family as our primary and always gives us exceptional care. One thing that a lot of physicians forget is that you’re more then a patient, but Dr. Zamani understand the human dynamics with each event that may occur regarding our health, social impact and emotional aspects that an illness or concern may cause. He’s detailed in all our visits and takes more time to “dig deep” in slight changes or concerns we may have or that he intuitively sees may occur in our health. The most compassionate and knowledgeable physician I ever dealt with, and I know, as dealing with physicians is something I have done professionally for many years. We feel blessed to have found him, truly a gem.

My family has been patients of Dr. Zamani for over 10 years. He is the most caring, knowledgeable person I have had the pleasure to know. Dr. Zamani takes care of most of my health needs but is quick to refer me to a specialist if needed. Anyone would be very lucky to have him serve them in the capacity of an Internist. He is the best and also a family man.

This was my first visit with Dr Zamani and I felt comfortable right from the start! Some of my issues were addressed and I am so glad I found him - he cares about his patients.
