I have worked with various doctors through the years but Dr. Rijhwani was th eonly one who truly paid attention to my concerns without feeling rushed on every visit. She's very thorough and results oriented. I have finally seen progress in terms of lower A1C for my Diabetes. Everything is finally up-to-date on my medical records including all my vaccinations. Requesting for medication refills has never been a problem either.

Rushed, disrespectful, berating
I've been seeing Dr. Rijhwani for a while and it's been a horrible experience throughout. She hurries through each appointment and always seems like she wants to leave the room. She once berated me for forgetting to tell her about a symptom after she had finished typing out all the symptoms I had told her earlier. Her demeanor makes me afraid to speak up or ask questions, lest I waste her time. She always seems exasperated when I ask clarifying or follow up questions. She has no sense of urgency when a patient is suffering, and repeatedly ignores my messages asking her questions. I get no sense that she actually cares about the patient. There is absolutely no beside manner and nobody should be treated this way. I would not recommend her if you are looking for a primary care physician and have active health problems outside of just looking for a physical/annual check up.

I felt disrespected, and came away discouraged.
Dr Rijhwani was upset that I didn’t have my medical records with me. She told me without them I was wasting my time. No joke. She berated me.

She is the first dr in years who actually listened to me. She takes her time and is thorough. She helped get my health on track when drs has dismissed me for years.

I have been seeing Dr Rijhwani for 2 Yrs now. She is ok until I saw her for my annual health checkup in Aug 2018. This service is 100% covered by my health insurance. She sent me bill of $52 with wrong charges for services which were not provided. I disputed the charges with John Muir Health. They did not provide any solution and sent my account to collections. This is TERRIBLE. Please be careful of this Dr. and the Hospital with wrong practices.
