I had to change pulmonologist for reasons beyond my control. I don’t like changing doctors but Dr. Devine is excellent and I am happy with the change, even after one visit. I have had pulmonary problems for over 7 years so know what to expect. Dr. Devine demonstrates her high competence through the questions she asked. She gave me suggestions other had not. She had read my file prior to our appointment. I left feeling like I am in the care of a top pulmonologist, not just in our area but in an area much larger. I would HIGHLY recommend her. She was knowledgeable, patient, courteous and friendly yet professional. Her nurse and the rest of the staff contributed to my experience of feeling I am fortunate to have such medical care.

She was sweet on the first visit . The 2nd & 3rd is when she started to show her true colors. She is not compassionate like she pretends to be. She doesn’t want to discuss lab work when asked . She is flat out rude & disrespectful. Her nurse is also rude. You can rarely get a hold of them . They want to treat patients through patient portal instead of face to face. Never can get a straightforward answer out of her. I do not think she should be caring for critically ill pulmonary patients at all. She is very immature & needs to practice her bedside manner & handle patients with respect instead of the rude approach she uses. She rarely wants to see how her patients are & claims to care but her actions show otherwise. She has many fooled but they haven’t met the real Megan Devine. Wouldn’t recommend her if my life depended on it.

Dr. Devine saved my life. I was hospitalized October 2013 when my liver and both kidneys completely failed. None of the doctors at my previous hospital could figure out what was wrong with me and said that I would need organ transplants or I would die. They told my wife I would not live through the night. Dr Devine's quick thinking treated me for an extremely rare disease that less than 1:8MIL people ever have. Because of her my body responded to the treatment without needing transplants.

After being misdiagnosed for years by other pulmonary specialist, Dr. Devine accurately determined what was causing my aliment, and created a treatment plan that has helped improve my condition and my quality of life. Her attention to detail, skill in diagnosing problems, and empathy for patients is priceless.
