Dr. Filkins front office staff
I arrived 3-4 minutes before my scheduled appointment and I was told when I checked in that because my address and insurance information had changed that I would need to reschedule for another day or complete my paperwork and they would fit me in 2 hours later.

Doctor Filkins truly seems like she cares about her patients and spends time to inform her patients about detection for my surgery and I feel very confident with her as my Doctor.

Rudely Sent me Away for Arriving Early
The website for Dr Filkins’ office stated that new patients should arrive 15 min early. The voicemail only stated my appt time. I checked both the night before to make sure I arrived on time. I was shocked when they wouldn’t see me because I wasn’t 45 min to an hour early to fill out new forms. They said they knew the website was wrong but the policy had changed. They offered to reschedule; I declined. They were unwilling to remedy their own mistake. Five standard medical forms don’t take an hour to fill out. I can’t report on the Dr herself, but patients cannot get good medical care if they aren’t seen. It was a waste of time for everyone.

I am a diabetic and Dr Filkins has been my Podiatrist for the last five years! She is a skilled physician and surgeon. She exceeds my expectations as doctor and is a caring person. If you need a Podiatrist she will not disappoint you!
