Very happy with Dr. W.
I really only see Dr. W for my annual physical because when it's urgent, she is usually impossible to see but I have been happy with all the PAs I have seen also. Though I only see her for my physical I find her thorough and a good listener. She (and her PA) is also extremely helpful with all my portal messages with very quick replies and action. I would recommend her and the practice, in general.

Excellent primary care with skill and compassion
Megan Wierchowski practices medicine as it should be. She comes to appointments prepared and fully familiar with the patient’s history. She listens carefully to the facts and to the patient’s concerns and fears, and answers questions clearly and directly. Her diagnostic skill and treatment recommendations are accurate, and she takes the time required to communicate with her patients. Our family is fortunate in her medical care.

I began seeing Dr. Wierchowski about 4 or 5 years ago and have had nothing but positive experiences! She feels very genuine to me and has always had a relaxed but informative approach which has always made me feel very comfortable. She's knowledgeable without scaring or judging you. Prior to her I had jumped around to a few doctors and always felt rushed and/or like they did not care. However, I've had the opposite experience with Dr. Wierchowski, which is why I keep going back. If it's helpful to know, I am a female in my early 30's and I find it's very easy to connect with her.

I'm very picky about healthcare, so keep that in mind. She seemed young, inexperienced, uncaring, arrogant and just not very nice. Frankly, I will not return to this office again and have been put off on seeing a DO in general. I guess some people become doctors just to make money, not because they care about people. I prefer doctors who respect, care about, and listen to their patients and who also take good care of their own health. That tells me they became doctors for the right reasons--to help people and because they care about good health practices in general. Also no matter how much education a doctor has, I'm still an authority on my own body. No one knows me more than I do.

I have no idea how 2 people left negative reviews for Dr Wierchowski! I have been a patient of hers for over a year now and she has been nothing but helpful. She actually listens and wants to help. In the past year I have been battling several issues. I have had to schedule appointments the same day a few times. Every single time but once I have seen the actual Dr. One time I saw a nurse practitioner but that was for a virus going around and I needed a note for work. She has found medicine for me that was cheaper on 2 occasions, she has sent me to several specialists that have helped me, she has always treated me as a human being and with respect. I cant say that about too many doctors. She has fought my insurance company to have necessary tests done or get medicine approved. The only negative thing is the wait time on the phone. But that has NOTHING to do with the Drs. That's something the practice in general needs to improve upon.

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr.Wiercchowski. She is kind and attentive, she will actually sit and listen to your concerns and help you find solutions. The patient portal is a great way to communicate with the office and Dr.Wierchowski directly for quick responses whether it be medical concerns or prescription refill requests. As for the other review giving one star over having to reschedule their appt, when I began going to this office it was made very clear to me and my spouse who also became a new patient there, that you have to be there 30 minutes before your first appt to complete new patient registration or risk cancellation. They not only told us this over the phone but also with new patient paperwork through the mail. That being said I highly recommend this doctor and would take the spiteful review from a disgruntled new patient who clearly doesn’t want to take responsibility for messing up her appt time with a grain of salt.

Terrible! I had an appt. scheduled with Megan Wierchowski for 9:45 am I arrived at 9:35 am. The receptionist told me she would ask the dr. if she would see me as I was supposed to check in 30 minutes prior to my appt. time. She came back and said the Dr. would not see me. I offered to play them the voicemail left by their office confirming my 9:45 appt with no mention of a check in time 30 minutes prior. What arrogance I was just appalled, she had the nerve to ask if I wanted to reschedule!
