Dr. Melinda Harrell, MD

Dr. Harrell has been our primary care doctor for 16 years. Dr. Harrell cares about her patients, listens to concerns and offers good advice for treatment. It has been easy to get appointments for my children and myself when needed and has even offered telehealth appointments when needed.

I don’t like to go to the doctor but I’m at an age where I need to get regular check ups. I’m so happy my daughter in law found Dr Harrell. I absolutely loved her and the staff. They made this process I usually hate very relaxing and easy. I never felt rushed and Dr Harrell made sure she answered all of my questions. Love that this office does your blood work on the spot, so I did not have to go to another facility. Would definitely recommend Dr Harrell and her staff.

Excellent. Helpful, understanding, warm and incredibly knowledgeable about her areas of practice. She is more than willing to refer patients to specialists who she does not have some sort of interest or reward in making the referral, unlike some who seem to think I have an MD degree and can treat anybody for anything. The only negative is that she is very popular, and that only comes from doing a great job. OTOH, a doctor who has been practicing for a long time, but has only a few patients is likely not to be one to go see.

I love Dr Harrell. She is caring and shows real interest in helping me out. I trust her as my doctor and my children's. She is open to conversation and discussing our health issues. She has always been prompt to call me with test results and answering my emails. I'm looking forward to keep her as my phisician for a long time and I highly recomend her.

Dr Harrell is a caring and interested DR, she spends the time needed, answers questions in easy terms, is supportive and encouraging. I do think her group is rushed, pushes through an alarming number of patients and her time demands can cause delay in returning calls, advising of test results. It is always difficult to get an appointment as she is fully booked, each day, She works 3 days a week so this creates appointment delays. Immediate urgent needs are not addressed any better,

I could never get Dr Harrell to call me back with the results of tests that I took. It took over a month, and I was very frustrated.
