Dr. Melissa Lazarus, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Lazarus for a few years for a yearly skin check and had been satisfied until my most recent visit. Saw the doctor over a month and a half ago. She told me to call the office if I have a problem filling my script. I have called half a dozen times, spoke to the office manager, no help. Asked to have Dr. Lazarus call me 3 different times, no phone call. Still don't have my script. I am going to find another Doctor that actually cares about their patients and follows up.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Melissa Lazarus diligently for the past decade. Dr. Lazarus is a superb dermatologist. The front desk staff are always helpful & very efficient. Dr. Lazarus has a lovely friendly, bright & warm personality. She’s chatty, has flawless skin herself & is very knowledgeable. She knows her patients’ needs. She asks questions, addresses any concerns & makes the right recommendations. I will be forever grateful when she recommended that I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash years ago because it really was all I needed to keep my skin blemish-free. She could have suggested a multitude of many more expensive products but knew that this inexpensive drugstore item worked just fine. I highly recommend Dr. Lazarus. She takes immense pride in her profession, devotes time to ensuring that her patients are completely satisfied, she is caring and most important, she keeps our skin healthy and cancer-free! She is conveniently located in Bay Harbor Islands.

Dr Lazarus has your best interest at heart. I have never met a more caring and perfectionist dermatologist. She takes the time to listen to your concerns & focuses on giving you the best outcome.She's so meticulous where she injects. She's the first Dr I have given complete confidence & control to. In the 2 years of seeing her I always come out looking incredible & natural. Most importantly she is so gentle I've never bruised or been in pain! That is why I always call her #softesthandsinthegame

Dr. Lazarus is wonderful. Bright, knowledgeable and caring. She takes the time to discuss and answer any questions, and point out questions you might not have thought to ask. ****Dr.Lazarus even returned a call on a Saturday summer night in July, when we called her number to ask for medical help while out of the country! Not only that, BUT! She returned our call right away, and when we couldn't answer, she left a message that she would try again!! Which she did ten minutes later!! SO GREAT!

Doctor was very pleasant but seemed extremely rushed. Treated two precancerous lesions which have both remained in spite of treatment. Only treated what I pointed out and did not do a thorough exam.

My loyalty, trust, and faith lie in only one dermatologist, Dr. Lazarus. Since my first appointment 10+ years ago, I have relied on her expertise, knowledge, and initiative to remove, correct, treat; as well as, and most importantly her artistic eye and ability to enhance. As a result, I have been continually and consistently pleased with the results she has been able to achieve through recommended treatments and procedures. I have complete trust in her ability and professionalism. The best!

Dr. Lazarus is an excellent doctor. She is thorough and thoughtful. she makes sure that your skin is safe and free of any cancerous or precancerous spots. She does a beautiful job with cosmetic procedures as well. You never leave her office looking like a crazy, duck face. One of the things I like best about her is that she does not push you to buy her products or services unless you absolutely need them.

Extremely competent. Does very thorough examinations. Takes the time to fully explain the process and results to the patient. Creates a very comfortable environment for her patients. Has a well trained friendly staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lazarus for several years. She and her staff are very professional and work with you wrt procedures and costs. She has performed Moh's and freeze therapies and makes suggestions for taking better care of yourself. Office staff have been stable, work well together and explain billing items. My brother is also her patient!!

Dr. Laz is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend her practice to friends and colleagues. Her clinical manner is warm and thorough. She has treated me for years, with patience, insight, fantastic recall, and actionable suggestions. She was able to clear up my acne. I have also benefited from her cosmetic skills - she has an artist's eye for tweaks and improvements (Botox, fillers, etc.). She always listens actively and carefully. There is no one else I would see/trust.

I've visited a few dermatologists in Miami and find that Meslissa Lazarus is my favorite. She is very personable and not only does she resolve any issues I may have, but if she sees something else that needs to be addressed she advises me. I believe that is so important since these days doctors just have you in and out of their office quickly . Her staff is also very friendly and professional. Furthermore, she doesn't have you waiting long in the lobby. I highly recommend Dr. Lazarus .

Dr Lazarus has been our family dermatologist for years. She is the utmost professional and great at diagnosing unusual conditions. She is also a perfectionist when it comes to cosmetic procedures and has a wonderful demeanor!!! Her staff is courteous caring and helpful with scheduling.

Dr. Lazarus has done a wonderful job dealing with my badly sun-damaged skin both medically by removing dangerous moles and cosmetically with cosmetic rejuvenating treatments that she offers. I live in New York but make sure to visit her office whenever I am in the Miami area.
