Waste of time
New patient appointment and didn’t see her for nearly an hour after the scheduled time, with no communication regarding any delays. Dr. Lo entered the room and didn’t introduce herself. She asked a few questions then gave the ol “well sometimes we can’t explain XYZ.” If you want a doctor who is willing to problem-solve and think outside the box, she isn’t it. It was a waste of time in every possible way.

So much frustration and disappointment. Wait times astronomical, but that wasn't the worst. She seemed to not take my concerns seriously, and I suffered because of that. I was anemic during my pregnancy (mildly, granted) and requested to check my levels since I had a bloodtest for a different reason coming up anyway. She said ok, but then forgot to order the anemia check. Next appointment I asked her about it and she said she forgot, but "I was only mild" so there wasn't a great reason to check for my anemia again. Well I started to feel worse and demanded a check later on. Turns out my anemia had gotten worse, big surprise. I had also expressed bad emotional feelings feelings during my pregnancy which she said were "normal," but I was very depressed and needed help. When I gave birth she barely made eye contact with me and didn't say a hello, goodbye, or congratulations. I'll forever be disappointed with my first child maternal care experience.

Dr Lo is very professional and straight to the point. She has a HUGE caseload and sometimes you may have to wait a bit and sometimes you don't. It is very much worth the wait if you want top notch medical care. I am coming from a gynecologic need, not OB. The last Dr. I saw told me "not to worry and have a great summer". We know our bodies and when something is wrong. Dr Lo is finding out what that is.

I think Dr. Lo is a competent and excellent doctor, however I felt so rushed and disrespected I went to another doctor for a second opinion. It turns out Dr. Lo’s evaluations were correct. I have had very long waits in the waiting room and later in her office. One time it took more than 2 hours after the appointment was scheduled before she saw me.

I do not recommend Dr. Lo if you value your time because she sure does not. Every single visit I have had, she has been at least 30 minutes late. My second to last visit, it was 40 minutes past my appointment and her nurse was barely taking back a patient before me. This most recent time, they took me back on schedule but then I overheard Dr. Lo chatting for the next 25+ minutes outside of my door about non medical related things while I waited (very frustrating). Also, my IUD replacement was a priority for me but she insisted I have a Pap smear first. I asked if I could do the Pap smear after and she said NO, it had to be done FIRST and results take 2 weeks. Since I wanted to keep my appt for the IUD, I told them I could do a Pap smear ahead of time at Planned Parenthood (since she was booked), but as soon as I suggested that, they scheduled the Pap smear and IUD in the same day despite her requirement to have it done first originally. Not professional and can’t manage schedule.

My experience w Dr. Lo was horrible! She always seemed in such a rush, I was pregnant with my first baby so I obviously had lots of questions but she just seemed like she was not interested. Also, the wait time to see her was horrible! It seemed like every time I had an appt I had to wait hours because she was doing c-sections. The last OB check up I had with her she said spotting would be normal & cramping, well it turned out I was in labor and she somehow gave me an infection from the cervical check she did so it resulted in me getting an emergency c-section. She then later said she was happy I had a c-section!!!!! I would NEVER EVER go back to her.

A bad experience. I would not recommend Dr. Lo to anyone. She lacks empathy and caused me a great deal of physical pain trying to fit my vaginal area with a contraption that didn't fit---trying one after another. Then, told me nothing worked. I found out later that there are softer ones that don't hurt...something she didn't suggest and obviously didn't know about. Not worth a visit!

She seemed nice, but busy, and maybe preoccupied. Diagnosed problems needing surgery, then didn't hear from her office for months. Meanwhile, problem's getting worse and when I call I just get an answering machine. I really need to find a doctor who has time to spend learning about me and listening to me...and will take care of the surgery ASAP! I know she's busy delivering babies, but why take on new patients if you don't have the time or interest?

I have been going to Dr. Lo for years. I am infertile and was told by her that all I had to do was lose weight. I would lose a few pounds but it never stayed off. I was told by her that my husband and I could be tested but it was really expensive. I have been seeing her for over 10 years. Now at the age of 35 I changed Drs and was told that I have PCOS and ALL of this can be treated. I am heartbroken. I could have had a baby years ago.

Dr. Lo has very little time available to care for new patients. If you are looking for an OBGYN seek out another doctor. My experience with this office was horrendous. It was difficult getting any information regarding my ultrasounds/test results back in a timely matter and that is if they don't forget about you! I had to call their office over 6 times in order to have some results interpreted for me... and when I did gt a call they were either too ill experienced or reading the wrong report.
